    Abstract: Provided is a composition with which a film capable of detecting infrared light with high sensitivity for use in an infrared sensor or the like can be formed. In addition, provided are a film, an optical filter, a solid image pickup element, and an infrared sensor. This composition includes: a color material that transmits infrared light and blocks visible light; a near infrared absorbing colorant; and a curable compound. In the composition, a ratio A/B of a minimum value A of an absorbance of the composition in a wavelength range of 400 to 700 nm to a maximum value B of an absorbance of the composition in a wavelength range of 1,400 to 1,500 nm is 4.5 or higher, and in a case where a film having a thickness of 1 μm is formed using the composition, the film has a maximum value of a refractive index in a wavelength range of 800 nm or longer.

    Abstract: Provided is a solid-state imaging element including a support 1 having a photoelectric conversion unit 10 and an optical filter 20 provided on a light incident side with respect to the photoelectric conversion unit 10. The optical filter 20 has two or more kinds of pixels 21, 22, and 23 arranged in a patterned manner and a partition wall 25 disposed between the pixels. A refractive index of the partition wall with respect to light having a wavelength of 533 nm is 1.10 to 1.30, a width W1 of the partition wall is 80 to 150 nm, a refractive index of the pixels with respect to light having a wavelength of 1000 nm is 1.60 to 1.90, a difference between a thickness H1 of the partition wall and a thickness H2 of pixels adjacent to the partition wall is 200 nm or less, and a difference between the refractive index of the partition wall with respect to light having a wavelength of 533 nm and a refractive index of the pixels adjacent to the partition wall with respect to light having a wavelength of 1000 nm is 0.30 to 0.80.

    Abstract: Provided are an optical filter having excellent light fastness and moisture resistance and having excellent detection accuracy, a structure, and an optical sensor. An optical filter 10a includes a near infrared transmitting filter 1 and a dielectric multi-layer film 2. In this optical filter, the dielectric multi-layer film 2 and the near infrared transmitting filter 1 are in contact with each other, or an organic layer 3 is provided between the dielectric multi-layer film 2 and the near infrared transmitting filter 3. In the optical filter, at least two wavelengths at which a transmittance in a wavelength range of 600 nm or longer and shorter than 1050 nm is 50% are present, and in a case where a wavelength on a shortest wavelength side is represented by λ1 and a wavelength on a longest wavelength side is represented by λ2 among the wavelengths at which the transmittance is 50%, predetermined conditions are satisfied.
