摘要: An electric discharge machining apparatus capable of precisely detecting the electric discharge in a case of performing machining by minute machining energy such as in finish machining. A voltage is applied between a tool electrode and a workpiece by repeating ON/OFF of a switching element to charge a stray capacitance between the electrodes to cause electric discharge between the electrodes by the charged voltage. The electric discharge between the electrodes in the electric discharge machining by the minute machining energy is detected. The current between the electrodes is detected by integrating an output of a sensor coil. An offset component superposed in the output of the integrator by a low-pass filter is extracted. The extracted offset component is eliminated from the output of the integrator by a differential amplifier. An output of the differential amplifier is compared with a reference value to detect the electric discharge.

摘要: Supply of a wire electrode, application of a detection voltage, and binarization and sampling of the detection voltage are started, so as to start advance of the wire electrode from the position A toward a workpiece. The position of the wire electrode when a sampling value (low level) is detected for the first time is designated as a position B, and the wire electrode is advanced from this position by a predetermined distance P1, and is stopped at a position C. Retreat of the wire electrode is started from the position C, and a position Q where the sampling value has changed from the high level to the low level is stored as a contact/noncontact boundary position. Further, retreat of the wire electrode is continued, and the wire electrode is stopped at a predetermined separating position D, to thereby finish the processing.

摘要: When starting a wire cutting operation, a first predetermined current is supplied from a power unit to a wire, and at the same time predetermined tension is applied from a tension applying device to the wire. When a first predetermined time elapses since the start of the wire cutting operation, the current supplied from the power unit is switched to a second predetermined current which is smaller than the first predetermined current, and also the predetermined tension is continuously applied, whereby the wire is cut.

摘要: A control circuit memorizes identification information of a landmark and a visits count relative to a spot assigned the landmark, in a visits count storing unit. The control circuit updates the visits count stored in the visits count storing unit when the spot assigned the landmark is visited. When a certain landmark becomes included in a map display range on a display unit, the control circuit refers to the visits count storing unit to determine whether a visits count relative to the certain landmark is greater than a predetermined count. The certain landmark is highlighted on the map when the visits count is determined to be greater than the predetermined count.

摘要: A defrosting system for a heat exchanger includes a temperature detector arranged adjacent to the exchanger, a temperature memory for storing temperature data detected by the detector, and a central processing unit, wherein when a second temperature which is detected by the temperature detector after normal operation requested by a user has restarted and after a predetermined minimum defrosting prohibitive time has passed, drops by a predetermined difference in temperature from a first temperature which is detected by the temperature detector after the normal operation has restarted and after a predetermined defrosting prohibitive time has passed, and the second temperature is a predetermined temperature or below; the central processing unit carries out the defrosting operation. As a result, when the amount of frost has rapidly increased during the defrosting prohibitive time, the defrosting operation is carried out even if the defrosting prohibitive time has not passed, thereby deteriorating the capability of the exchanger and preventing the frost from remaining after the defrosting operation has been completed.

摘要: An improved air conditioner for supplying temperature-controlled air to the interior of a room from a ceiling position where the air conditioner is installed without danger of condensate dripping from the air conditioner into the room. Air is sucked from an outer case intake vent into a heat exchanger and the cooled air is blown into the room with blowers. The heat exchanger and the blowers are installed in a suspended outer case in a space above the ceiling of the room. The air sucked from the intake vent is led to air supply vents provided on both sides of the undersurface of the outer case through the air supply trunk, the air supply trunk being divided into sections by a bulkhead.
