Abstract: A fluid pump includes a pump element in communication with an inlet and an outlet. Rotation of the pump element generates a suction at the inlet and pressure at the outlet. The suction and pressure cooperate to move a fluid through a fluid path. An accessory fluid path is in communication with the inlet and outlet. The accessory fluid path includes a thermistor in communication with the accessory fluid path. The thermistor monitors a temperature of the fluid within the accessory fluid path.

Abstract: A fluid pump includes a pump element where rotation of the pump element generates suction at the inlet and pressure at the outlet to move fluid through a fluid path. An inlet orifice directs a portion of the fluid through the accessory fluid path that includes a low-restriction return path providing a continuous flow of the fluid through the accessory fluid path and to an outlet orifice. A circuit board housing includes a contoured portion and a PCB with a thermistor in communication with contoured portion. The continuous flow is directed between the contoured portion and the outlet orifice between a rotor and the outer wall. The low-restriction return path maintains a temperature of the continuous flow of the fluid within the contoured portion of the accessory fluid path to be similar to a temperature of the fluid in the fluid path.

A drive shaft extends from the rotor to a pump assembly that delivers a fluid from an inlet to an outlet. The pump cover defines an end of the interior cavity. A spring assembly biases the pump cover in an axial direction toward the pump assembly.

Abstract: A pump assembly includes an electric motor and different selectable pump covers, and is suitable for mounting within a transmission fluid reservoir for transferring automatic transmission fluid. The pump assembly includes a stator housing having a cylindrical cavity for receiving ATF contained in the transmission fluid reservoir. A rotor is rotatably coupled within the cylindrical cavity and has a plurality of magnets arranged about a rotational axis thereof. A flux collector is coupled with the stator housing adjacent to the cylindrical cavity for transferring magnetic flux from one of the plurality of magnets from a first portion to a second portion thereof. A hall sensor is disposed proximate the second portion for sensing magnetic flux in the flux collector, such that the magnetic flux is used to determine a rotated position of the rotor.

Abstract: A shift actuator includes a motor that drives a drum assembly having a disconnect track and a range track. Operation of the motor rotates the drum assembly about a rotational axis. A fork rod is positioned parallel with the rotational axis. A disconnect fork is slidably coupled with the disconnect track and the fork rod. A range fork is slidably coupled with the range track and the fork rod. The disconnect track and the range track define a plurality of actuating positions of the disconnect fork and the range fork. The plurality of actuating positions are defined by corresponding flat portions of the disconnect track and the range track that maintain a position of the disconnect fork and the range fork, respectively, relative to the fork rod.

Abstract: A sway-bar actuator for a vehicle includes a motor that rotationally operates a lead rod to axially operates a push rod. Operation of the push rod axially operates an attachment fork between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The engaged position is characterized by a unified operation of opposing stabilizing bars. The disengaged position is characterized by independent rotational operation of the opposing stabilizing bars. A sensor rod is coupled to and operates axially with the attachment fork. A sensor assembly has a rotator and a sensor magnet. Axial operation of the sensor rod produces a rotational operation of the sensor magnet. The sway-bar actuator includes an encoder, where a rotational position of the sensor magnet relative to the encoder corresponds to an axial position of the attachment fork and the push rod relative to the engaged and disengaged positions.
