Abstract: A network performance improvement method and an apparatus for user equipment. In the network performance improvement method, user equipment establishes a first PDN connection and transmits data of a first application program through the first PDN connection. Then, the user equipment starts a second application program and determines whether a current network status satisfies a quality of service requirement of the second application program. When determining that the current network status does not satisfy the quality of service requirement of the second application program, the user equipment starts to establish a second PDN connection, and transmits, after the second PDN connection is successfully established, at least a part of application data of the second application program through the second PDN connection.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a data transmission method and a terminal. Abstract: A connection establishment method includes a terminal device obtaining historical data of a multipath transmission control protocol (MPTCP) connection established between the terminal device and an application server. The historical data includes a data transmission delay of a transmission control protocol (TCP) connection corresponding to a Wi-Fi network and a data transmission delay of a TCP connection corresponding to a cellular network. The terminal device determines, based on the historical data, that the data transmission delay of the TCP connection corresponding to the cellular network is less than or equal to the data transmission delay of the TCP connection corresponding to the Wi-Fi network, and establishes a first TCP connection to the application server through an interface of the cellular network; and after the first TCP connection is successfully established, the terminal device establishes a second TCP connection to the application server through an interface of the Wi-Fi network.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications technologies, and disclose a call termination method, an application processor, and a modem. In this solution, the application processor receives a hang-up instruction and sends a first message to the modem according to the hang-up instruction, where the first message is used to trigger the modem to directly terminate a call. The modem may terminate the call in a timely manner according to the first message. Therefore, a time consumed in call termination is reduced and efficiency is improved.
