摘要: A film selectively permeable to carbon dioxide gas which includes chitosan having a degree of deacetylation of 70 mol % or higher and in which the ratio of the carbon dioxide gas transmission (CO2TR) to the oxygen gas transmission (O2TR), (CO2TR/O2TR), is 15 or higher and a food packaging film made from such a film. The films are insoluble in water, are highly safe from the standpoint of food hygiene, and have such selective gas permeability that the ratio of carbon dioxide gas transmission to oxygen gas transmission is high, which can be economically obtained.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a movable image bearing member, a charger means including a charge member for electrically charging the image bearing member with electroconductive particles between the charge member and the image bearing member and a developing member for developing a latent image with toner mixed with electroconductive particles. The latent image is formed on the image bearing member having been charged by the charging means, and a toner image provided by development of the latent image by the developing member is transferred onto a recording material. The electroconductive particles mixed in the toner is carried by the image bearing member and are fed to between the charge member and the image bearing member. The width A, measured in a direction perpendicular to a moving direction of the image bearing member, in which the electroconductive particle are present between the charge member and the image bearing member, a width B in which the developing means is capable of effecting development, and a recording width C of a maximum size recording material, satisfy: A>B≧C.

摘要: Processor devices functioning as tone-generation-related processing elements, such as a keyboard, tone generator and speaker, are connected to a star-type network. Desired processing elements are logically connected (e.g., a keyboard is logically connected to the input side of the tone generator and a speaker is connected to the output side of the tone generator) in an internal network, so that a tone generation system can be built. Each processor device possesses a content file, and each of the processor devices has a table storing, for each of the processor devices, information indicating whether the content file possessed thereby can be supplied. If a particular one of the processor devices does not possess a content file to be used, the particular processor device extracts, from the table, another processor device capable of supplying the content file to be used and receives the content file from the extracted processor device.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member; a rotatable charging member, forming a nip with the image bearing member, for electrically charging the image bearing member; developing structure for developing an electrostatic image formed on the image bearing member to form a toner image, the developing structure supplying electroconductive particles to the image bearing member, wherein the electroconductive particles are fed to the nip by the image bearing member; and transferring structure for transferring the toner image onto a recording material at a transfer position. The developing structure feeds the electroconductive particles to a region of the image bearing member which corresponds to a region between a first recording material and a second recording material immediately subsequent to the first recording material, and a time period from passage of a trailing end of the first recording material through the transfer position to arrival of a leading end of the second recording material at a transfer position is longer than a time period required for the charging member to rotate one full-turn.
