摘要： A multi lumen catheter including an inner tube having a front tip, an outer tube, a tube or lumen for inserting a guide wire, a blood extraction lumen and a blood return lumen which are formed in the outer tube and inner tube, respectively, or both in the outer tube, wherein the inner tube is inserted in the outer tube, and allowed to slide relative thereto, and the front tip is jointed to the front end of the outer tube to shut off communication of the lumens with the exterior. A multi-lumen catheter with balloon includes a balloon provided on a tabular body at a front end thereof, a blood return port and a blood extraction port provided in the tubular body on opposite sides of the balloon, and an outer cylinder slidable on the tubular body to close the blood extraction and blood return ports and the balloon.

摘要： An indwelling catheter comprises a tube, a female connector and an elastically deformable hemostasis valve which can be pressed by a male connector. An opening taper portion tapered forwardly is formed in a longitudinal intermediate portion of an inner circumferential surface of the female connector. The elastically deformable hemostasis valve is provided longitudinally slidably in the opening taper portion of the female connector and an inside portion extending rearwardly from the opening taper portion. The hemostasis valve includes; a body having a hollow form opened at its front and rear ends or a tubular portion fitted over the connecting portion from a rearward direction; and an openable/closable portion being opened by elastic deformation of the body or the tubular portion.

摘要： A liquid medicine self-administration device which is capable of administering a liquid medicine to a patient in a single shot and with which the refilling of the liquid medicine can be performed by a one-touch operation. The device includes a casing 1 having two open ends, a port portion 2 closing one of the open ends of the casing, a reservoir 3 attached to the port portion 2 and capable of being easily deformed by pressing and of being restored to its original shape. A pushing means 4 is slidably inserted into the other open end of the casing 1 and is adapted to press and deform the reservoir 3. The pushing means 4 comprises a cylindrical member 41 inserted into the casing 1 so as to be able to slide along the inner wall of the casing 1 and a spring 42 housed within the cylindrical member 41. The device operates such that when the cylindrical member 41 is pushed down by the pushing means 4, the cylindrical member 41 is automatically held in engagement with an engaging hook 5 while engagement of the cylindrical member 41 with the engaging hook is released by a push-button operation.

摘要： An apparatus for dosing a liquid medicine. The apparatus includes a balloon having openings through which the medicine is charged and discharged; a housing holding the balloon and having an outlet adjacent to one of the openings; and a delivery assembly extending from the outlet. The balloon is composed of an inner layer, an outer layer covering the inner layer and an impermeable membrane interposed between the inner and outer layers. The inner layer is made of a chemically resistant resin not reactive with the medicine, the outer layer is made of an elastic rubber more contractive than the inner layer when the balloon is inflated with the medicine, and the impermeable membrane prevents any additives in the elastic rubber from migrating into the medicine, even if the additives were not previously removed. The balloon can be manufactured in a shorter time than a conventional balloon and will not cause an allergic reaction or anaphylactic shock inherent in untreated elastic rubbers.
