摘要: A marine reduction and reverse gear unit having an output shaft disposed at an acute (or obtuse) angle with respect to an input shaft 7 comprises: a drive gear 15 for transmitting torque from the input shaft 7; first and second driven gears 30, 31 engaged with the drive gear and disposed on the right and left sides thereof to sandwich the drive gear between the first and second driven gears; a reverse gear 16 connected to the drive gear 15 via a reverse hydraulic clutch 16; a first forward speed gear 33 connected to the first driven gear 30 via a hydraulic clutch; a second forward speed gear connected to the second driven gear 31 via a hydraulic clutch; and an output gear 26 fixed on the output shaft and engaged directly with one of the reverse gear 16, first forward speed gear 33 and second forward speed gear 36, or engaged therewith via idle gears to thereby receive the transmitted torque. This marine reduction and reverse gear unit provides a stable boat speed and enhanced acceleration performance by increasing the number of engine revolutions when wakeboarding.

摘要: A sintered metal bearing member is provided that includes radial bearing surfaces arranged at two regions spaced apart from each other in an axial direction on an inner peripheral surface. The bearing member includes radial dynamic pressure generating portions in contact with the radial bearing surfaces. The radial dynamic pressure generating portions are formed on the radial bearing surfaces. The bearing member includes a thrust bearing surface arranged on at least one of the end surfaces and a thrust dynamic pressure generating portion for generating a dynamic pressure in the lubricating oil in contact with the thrust bearing surface. The thrust dynamic pressure generating portion is formed on the thrust bearing surface. The bearing member includes a middle relief portion arranged between the radial bearing surfaces in the axial direction. The middle relief portion has a larger diameter than the radial bearing surfaces.

摘要: A medical valve includes: (a) a housing having a hollow body opened at the top end, wherein the tip of a male luer is to be removably inserted in the housing; (b) a spike disposed to extend longitudinally in the housing, the spike except at least the top end portion being formed in an approximately tapered shape in which its outside diameter becomes progressively smaller toward the top end portion, wherein a fluid transferring passage, which is opened radially outwardly, is formed to extend longitudinally in the spike; and (c) an elastic seal having an elastically deformable tubular shape fitted on the spike to seal the spike, the elastic seal including a top end portion having an openable/closable portion to be openably closed over the spike, wherein the elastic seal is elastically deformed to be downwardly shrunk by downward pressure due to the tip of the male luer.

摘要: A forced-insertion welded structure is provided which is formed by welding members making up a metal component and which is easy to manufacture and has low cost, a good finish precision and a high bonding strength. The forced-insertion welded structure comprises: a first member 2 with a hole 13 which has the same geometry as a cross section of a forcibly inserted portion of a second member; and the second member 4 having a constant cross section over its length which is similar in shape to the hole 13; wherein a press-fit interference of the second member 4 relative to the hole 13 of the first member 2 is set to 0.1 mm or more; wherein the second member 4 is pushed against the hole 13 of the first member 2 under a predetermined pressure and at the same time an electric current is applied between the two members to generate electric resistance heat in faying portions of the two members to forcibly push the second member 4 into the hole 13, thereby forming a joint interface between the second member 4 and the inner wall surface of the hole 13; wherein the joint thus formed is a solid-state welded joint.

摘要: When a bearing member (bearing sleeve (8)) is formed of a sintered metal comprising a middle relief portion (E), a lubricating oil can be impregnated and retained in inner pores of the sintered metal. Thus, when the lubricating oil in a middle relief space (E0) is drawn into a radial bearing gap side and lubricating oil pressure in the middle relief space (E0) decreases, the lubricating oil impregnated in the inner pores of the bearing sleeve (8) is drawn out from surface pores of the middle relief portion (E) and supplied into the middle relief space (E0). Thus, generation of negative pressure is prevented.
