    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for switching input terminals based on a transmitted signal format are disclosed. The method includes issuing a command to a receiver when a format of the signal has changed from digital to analog. The receiver switches to an analog input terminal according to the command. The apparatus includes a transmitter and a receiver connected with each other with a digital interface and an analog interface. The transmitter has a command generator that issues the command. The receiver includes a switch to select an input terminal, and a selector to control the switch according to the command provided from the transmitter. The receiver also includes a digital signal processor coupled to the digital interface to decode digital signals.

    Abstract: The rotary member carrying the X-ray radiation unfit and the X-ray detection unit and rotated around a subject is used as the rotor. The rotor is provided with a rotor core and a plurality of conductors connected to the core. The stator has at least one set of stator core and stator winding, the at least one set of stator core and stator winding being adapted to clamp the rotor and arranged at opposing positions. A three-phase AC current is supplied to the stator winding to generate a rotating magnetic field to rotate the rotor and thereby rotate the rotary member at high speed.     Abstract: Provided is a full-color toner cartridge in which the toner does not block and which therefore ensures stable formation of high-quality images. The cartridge has a cylindrical container provided with a toner supply port and is detachable from a developing machine.     Abstract: A bicycle ergometer includes an eddy current brake having a rotor assembly including an iron material having a carbon content of 0.12% or less and a silcon content of 0.35% or less, a stator provided in the rotor assembly, a plurality of exciting coils provided on the stator, and a power source for energizing the exciting coils. The ergometer includes an input panel for inputting physical attributes of the user, e.g., age and sex, a pulse sensor for measuring the heart rate of the user at rest and during exercise on the ergometer, an arithmetic control circuit for calculating a training program and heart rate range and for controlling the eddy current brake to present a load to the user which will maintain the user's heart rate in a predetermined range.     Abstract: A power transmission mechanism (10) having a V-belt (11) provided with transverse reinforcing elements (22).
