    摘要: An X-ray CT scanner having an X-ray tube for radiating X-rays to a subject, an X-ray detector for detecting X-rays that have penetrated the subject, a circular plate-like rotary member with an opening for insertion of a subject and having the X-ray tube and the X-ray detector mounted thereon at opposing positions with respect to the opening, a support for rotatably supporting the rotary member, and a rotary drive for rotating the rotary member around the subject. The X-ray tube and the X-ray detector are mounted on a side surface of the rotary member, the side surface being a unit mounting surface for mounting a control unit relating to at least one of generation and detection of the X-rays.

    摘要: The rotary member carrying the X-ray radiation unfit and the X-ray detection unit and rotated around a subject is used as the rotor. The rotor is provided with a rotor core and a plurality of conductors connected to the core. The stator has at least one set of stator core and stator winding, the at least one set of stator core and stator winding being adapted to clamp the rotor and arranged at opposing positions. A three-phase AC current is supplied to the stator winding to generate a rotating magnetic field to rotate the rotor and thereby rotate the rotary member at high speed. Because the scan time can be reduced, the X-ray CT scanner can scan such moving organs as heart.

    摘要: An entertainment system includes a digital television connected to a number of audio/video input devices. The television and at least two of the input devices support analog legacy communication schemes. The television is adapted to uniquely identify the analog output channels from each of the input devices. Uniquely identifying the analog output channels from each input device enables the television to automatically select the correct device output from among the numerous possibilities. This automation relieves the user of having to manually select the correct analog channel.

    摘要: A apparatus for crushing waste metal products includes a rotor having a crushing device on a periphery thereof and a casing enclosing the rotor. The casing has an inlet and an outlet for products to be crushed. An exhaust gas from the casing is partly returned to the inlet of the casing by a circulator. The rest of the exhaust gas is ventilated and processed by an exhaust processor. An oxygen concentration is monitored in a gas pathway of the circulator to control the gas concentration in the casing. If the oxygen concentration is high, a water shower sprays into the casing.

    摘要: A waste object containing oil has a first opening formed therein at an upper portion thereof and a second opening positioned below the first opening. The first and second openings are connected to a recovery tank. Hot water of a predetermined temperature is held in the recovery tank and is caused to accumulate inside the waste object via the second opening. Oil that has floated upwards is recovered in the recovery tank via the first opening.
