Abstract:
The present invention provides an ultraviolet light irradiation device having a planer UV light source in which the irradiation intensity of UV light can be adjusted finely in a wider range. The ultraviolet light irradiation device of the present invention comprises an UV light source and a housing that holds the planer UV light source. In the UV light source, a plurality of thin plasma tubes, each of which has an UV phosphor layer formed therein, are arranged in parallel with each other on an electrode support sheet, and drive circuits apply a pulse voltage to electrode pairs provided between the electrode support sheet and an array of the thin plasma tubes. A control circuit controls a factor of the pulse voltage to be applied to the electrode pairs so as to adjust the irradiation intensity of the UV light.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a fuel cell system which includes a fuel cell having an anode and a cathode and for producing electricity through reaction between the fuel gas and the oxidant gas, a fuel gas supply path through which the fuel gas passes, an oxidant gas supply path through which the oxidant gas passes, a voltage sensing device for detecting voltage produced by the fuel cell during power generation, and a decision device for determining whether or not cross leakage occurs between the anode and the cathode of the fuel cell, based on voltage information sent from the voltage sensing device. Moreover, the decision device determines that the cross leakage occurs between the anode and the cathode, if the voltage produced by the fuel cell is less than a predetermined value during the power generation.
Abstract:
In a mounting structure for a vehicle battery box, a battery box is supported in a suspended manner between left and right rear side frames at the rear of a vehicle with first and second cross members that are installed between the left and right rear side frames. The first cross member is fixed at a substantially front end of a rear deformation zone that is set at the left and right rear side frames. High-voltage equipment is fixed between the first and second cross members on the top surface of the right rear side frame. The battery box is electrically connected to the high-voltage equipment with a connecting member.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing an optical element having a good reflection preventing characteristic is provided in which an irregularity structure having a reflection preventing function can be formed at low temperature. The method includes forming a film on the optical substrate by using a coating liquid containing a metal alkoxide containing at least aluminum, immersing the film in a water-containing liquid, baking the film having been immersed in the water-containing liquid, and subjecting the film having been baked to treatment with warm water to form an aluminum-containing film having a fine irregularity structure.
Abstract:
An internal combustion engine which is provided with a variable compression ratio mechanism which can change a mechanical compression ratio and a variable valve timing mechanism which can control a closing timing of an intake valve. No-entry regions (X1, X2) are set for a combination of the mechanical compression ratio, the closing timing of the intake valve, and the intake air amount. Furthermore, a no-entry layer is set so as to surround the no-entry region (X2). When the demanded intake air amount is made to decrease and the operating point moves toward the no-entry region (X2), the operating point is prohibited from entering the no-entry layer whereby the operating point is blocked from entering the no-entry region (X2).
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a polyhedral polysiloxane composition that has high heat resistance and high light resistance, is excellent in gas-barrier properties and thermal shock resistance, and exhibits good handleability when used to encapsulate an optical semiconductor device. The polyhedral polysiloxane composition of the present invention is characterized by including a modified polyhedral polysiloxane which is obtained by hydrosilylation of an alkenyl group-containing polyhedral polysiloxane compound (a) and a hydrosilyl group-containing compound (b) and has a structure derived from an organic silicon compound (a′) having one alkenyl group per molecule.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a coating solution for producing an optical film and a method for producing the coating solution which has improved temporal stability and which is capable of preventing the occurrence of defects in a coating film when a magnesium fluoride film is formed by applying a coating solution containing magnesium fluorocarboxylate and then firing the coating solution.A coating solution for producing an optical film includes at least a magnesium compound represented by (CF3-X—COO)2Mg (wherein X represents a single bond or —CH2- which may be substituted by a fluorine atom), and a compound represented by general formula (1). A method for producing the coating solution is also provided.
