摘要: A thin push switch used in a portable electronic apparatus includes a less number of components jointed together without any adhesive controlled hardly, and can thus be favored with mass production. The push switch includes an insulating spacer having first cramp-locked tabs cramp-locked with the first terminals of a fixed plate and second cramp-locked tabs cramp-locked with the second terminals of a contact plate. The fixed plate includes a fixed contact, and the contact plate includes a movable contact. Accordingly, the contact plate, the insulating spacer, and the fixed plate can be joined together without an adhesive.

摘要: Fixed contacts 11, 12, 13 and 14 are provided on the bottom face 10B of recess 10A in switch housing 10. Two contact-receptors 10C, 10D are disposed at corners so as to confront each other on the bottom face 10B. Outer rim 15B of domed movable contact 15 made of thin metal plate and bowed upwardly is placed on the receptors so that a lower face of top 15A of movable contact 15 faces fixed contacts 11, 12, 13 and 14. Flexible film 16 is fixed so that film 16 covers recess 10A and accommodates domed movable contact 15.

摘要: A push switch used in an electronic apparatus is provided which has a thin switch case in spite of fixed contacts embedded in the bottom of the case. When the push switch is depressed, a center fixed contact and an outer fixed contact both made of metal strip and embedded in the bottom of the switch case is electrically connected and disconnected to each other by a movable contact. In the fixed contacts, embedded thin portions are formed, which is thinner than that of the metal strip as the material. As the thin portions are embedded in the switch case, the overall thickness of the bottom of the case is reduced, thus contributing to the thinner push switch.

摘要: A push-on switch includes a casing made of insulating material and having an inner bottom surface. First fixed contacts are provided on the inner bottom surface of the casing. Second fixed contacts are provided on the inner bottom surface of the casing. Movable contacts have base portions and resilient contact arms. The base portions are placed on and electrically connected to the first fixed contacts respectively. The resilient contact arms extend from the base portions to regions above the second fixed contacts respectively. A dome-shaped spring member made of resilient insulating material has a top portion, a conical portion, and a lower end. The top portion and the lower end are connected by the conical portion. The lower end is placed on the base portions of the movable contacts. The top portion has a lower surface located above free ends of the resilient contact arms of the movable contacts. A lid member fixed to the casing has a hole through which the top portion of the dome-shaped spring member extends. The lid member presses the lower end of the dome-shaped spring member against the base portions of the movable contacts. As the top portion of the dome-shaped spring member is depressed, the dome-shaped spring member brings the resilient contact arms into contact with the second fixed contacts respectively.

摘要: An optical system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a reflective imaging element having a first principal face which is struck by light emitted from a display panel, a second principal face parallel to the first principal face, and two mutually-orthogonal specular elements being perpendicular to the first principal face, and causes an image displayed on a display surface of the display panel to form an image at a position of planar symmetry with respect to the reflective imaging element as a plane of symmetry. A transparent substrate which is disposed on at least either the first principal face side or the second principal face side of the reflective imaging element is further included, and first light striking the transparent substrate is linearly polarized light, with a large proportion of p-polarized light.

摘要: A direct-viewing type display device 100A includes: a display panel which has a display region 10A and a frame region 10F provided outside the display region; and a light-transmitting cover 20 provided on a viewer's side of the display panel. The light-transmitting cover includes a lens portion 22 positioned so as to overlap a region that includes part of the frame region of the display panel and part of a peripheral display region 10D within the display region which adjoins the part of the frame region. The display device further includes a housing 30 which has a housing portion 36 provided at least on a side surface 10b of the display panel. Part of light going out from the part of the peripheral display region and/or part of light entering the housing portion on a rear side goes out on a viewer's side of the housing portion 36. According to the present invention, a direct-viewing type display device is provided which includes a sole display panel and in which the frame is visually obscured.

The light scattering layer has a scattering surface. The scattering surface includes a macro uneven structure which has light scatterability and a micro uneven structure which is superimposedly formed over the macro uneven structure and which is smaller than visible light wavelengths.

A window member (5) includes a display panel (11) having a display region (11a) that can switch between a light transmitting state and a non-light-transmitting state and a frame region (11b) serving as a non-display region formed on an outer side of the display region (11a), a light-transmitting cover (40) disposed on the display panel so as to cover at least a part of the frame region (11b) and at least a part of the display region (11a) that is adjacent to the frame region (11b), and a pair of windowpanes (3, 3) that are held in parallel in the window frame (2). The light-transmitting cover (40) is shaped such that the thickness thereof decreases from the display region (11a) toward the frame region (11b).
