摘要: Wiring electrodes are formed on a first principal surface of a base substrate. An insulation film partially covers the first principal surface of the base substrate and the wiring electrodes. The insulation film has opening portions where the base substrate and the wiring electrodes are not coated with the insulation film. An electronic component having bump electrodes is mounted on the mounting board by connecting the bump electrodes with the wiring electrodes in the opening portions. A gap between the first principal surface of the base substrate and the electronic component is filled with sealing resin. The opening portions are substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the wiring electrodes. The ratio of the minimum width of a portion of the base substrate exposed at each of the opening portions to the thickness of the insulation film may advantageously be greater than or equal to 2.

摘要: A piezoelectric transformer includes a piezoelectric transforming element supported at its vibrational node region N on a base plate through a resilient adhesive member. Input electrodes of the piezoelectric transforming element are electrically connected to input electrode connecting lands of the base plate through a conductive adhesive which is adapted to be freely deformed according to the vibration of the piezoelectric transforming element. An output electrode of the piezoelectric transforming element is electrically connected to an output electrode connecting land of the base plate through a lead wire or a conductive adhesive.

摘要: A paper path switching mechanism including a plurality of feeding rollers which feed a page when the page is pressed against the feeding rollers by guide members of a switching guide. The switching guide has long guide members which press the paper against the feeding rollers and short guide members positioned near the edges of the page. The short guide members guide the page without imparting too much resistance at the edges of the page in order to reduce the frequency of paper jams. The longer guide members are tapered in width at portions near the periphery of the feeding rollers in order to reduce the size of the contact area of the page to the long guide members which reduces resistance on the page and consequently reduces paper jams. After the page passes between the switching guide and feeding rollers, its direction of travel is reversed and the page again contacts the switching guide but moves along a different edge of the guide members and along a different paper path in order to invert pages.
