    Abstract: There are realized a vehicle control device and an electronic control system with high reliability capable of safely shifting control even when an operation abnormality occurs in a sensor around a vehicle or an arithmetic block that processes sensor fusion. The vehicle control device includes a first arithmetic block which performs sensor fusion processing based on pieces of raw data output from a plurality of surrounding environment sensors, a second arithmetic block which performs sensor fusion processing based on pieces of object data generated by processing the pieces of raw data output from the plurality of surrounding environment sensors, and a third arithmetic block which diagnoses an output result of the first arithmetic block by using the output result of the first arithmetic block and an output result of the second arithmetic block.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle control device and a vehicle control system capable of further reducing system cost in failure mitigation. The vehicle control device includes a master ECU and one or more client ECUs. The master ECU generates a safety process list on a basis of a predetermined failure operation pattern and transmits the safety process list to each of the client ECUs when detecting a failure of any one of the client ECUs, the safety process list includes one or more safety processes and an execution start time limit corresponding to each of the safety processes, each of the client ECUs switches an operation mode from a normal mode to a failure operation mode in response to reception of the safety process list, and starts execution of each of the safety processes by a corresponding execution start time limit, the failure operation pattern is configured such that each of the safety processes is executed by a client ECU having a memory capacity capable of executing the safety process, and the failure operation pattern is configured such that the same safety process is not executed by a plurality of client ECUs.

    Abstract: Provided is a highly reliable electronic control unit capable of improving responsiveness of an output current of a switching power supply to load current variation and suppressing power supply voltage variation accompanying the load current variation at low cost and with high power efficiency. Provided are: a calculation unit that performs signal processing; a first power supply circuit that supplies a first power supply voltage to the calculation unit; and a second power supply circuit that supplies a second power supply voltage to the first power supply circuit. The calculation unit has a function of outputting a control signal when a change in a consumed current of the calculation unit exceeds a predetermined threshold, and changes any one or both of a control scheme of the first power supply circuit and the second power supply voltage according to the control signal.

    Abstract: Provided is a technology capable of adding a new function by updating a program of an in-vehicle computer system. An in-vehicle computer system includes a plurality of ECUs. Each ECU is able to communicate with at least one other ECU via a communication bus. An in-vehicle computer system includes a measurement means that measures an ECU state for the ECUs, an estimation means that estimates a vehicle state based on the ECU state and a connection configuration of a communication bus, and a management means that acquires an update program and execution conditions of the update program. The management means selects a first ECU that is to execute the update program based on the vehicle state and the execution conditions. The first ECU executes the update program. The management means determines whether or not an output delay constraint of the update program is satisfied. The management means terminates execution of a redundancy program redundant to the update program.
