Abstract:
A method of an access point device is disclosed. A first indication message is sent to a terminal. The first indication message is used to indicate that the terminal is allowed to access a current channel or to indicate that the terminal has downlink data on the access point device or to indicate that the terminal is allowed to send uplink data. A second indication message is sent by the terminal according to the first indication message. The second indication message is used to indicate that the terminal is to send uplink data. After receiving the second indication message, a third indication message is sent to the terminal. The third indication message carries channel use time information. The channel use time information is used to indicate time for using the channel to send the uplink data by the terminal.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for handling an address conflict. The method for handling an address conflict includes: acquiring a media access control (MAC) address of an associated first node and a first auxiliary identifier; receiving a MAC frame that carries the first auxiliary identifier; and sending an auxiliary identifier conflict report message to the first node when it is determined that the MAC frame is sent by a second node. According to the method and the apparatus for handling an address conflict in the embodiments of the present invention, the following problem can be detected and resolved. An AP auxiliary identifier conflict is caused by a MAC header compression method where an auxiliary identifier is used to replace a MAC address.
Abstract:
A method for network handover includes sending a first message that includes first information to a second network, where the first information is used to indicate that a user equipment needs to be handed over from a first network to the second network, so that a target gateway device allocates, to the user equipment according to at least the first information sent by the second network, a second Internet Protocol (IP) address that is the same as a first IP address and used when a second packet data network (PDN) connection is established by using the second network and the target gateway device, where the first IP address is an IP address used when the user equipment establishes a first PDN connection by using the first network and the target gateway device. Therefore, service continuity is ensured after a network handover.

Abstract:
A method, related device, and system for configuring a wireless local area network device are provided. A configuration device obtains working channel information of a wireless local area network. The working channel information is used to indicate a working channel of the wireless local area network. The configuration device receives a configuration instruction sent by an access point. The configuration instruction is received through the working channel according to the working channel information. The configuration instruction is sent after the access point receives a configuration request of an application terminal, and the configuration instruction is used to instruct the configuration device to send configuration information. The configuration device sends the configuration information through the working channel information, so that the application terminal performs network configuration with the access point according to the configuration information.
Abstract:
In a wireless network discovery operation, before a WiFi station sends a network probe request in a WiFi network to request for network information it needs to connect to an access point, it first listens to communications on a current channel of the WiFi network for a preset period of time. When the WiFi station receives on the current channel a network probe request message sent by another WiFi station, it further delays sending the first network probe request by a second time period, in anticipation of some signals from the access point. If during the second time period a network discovery message from the access point, such as a probe response or a beacon message, is detected and that message contains the network information needed, the WiFi station cancels the sending of its probe request. Otherwise, the WiFi station sends its probe request after the second time period expires.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a wireless transmission method, an access point, and a station. The method includes: sending, by the access point, a first message to a first station, where the first message includes a channel service period allocated by the access point to the first station, and the first message is used to indicate that the first station sends data to a relay station of the first station in the channel service period; and receiving, by the access point, the data from the relay station of the first station.
Abstract:
A method, a machine to machine (M2M) terminal, an access point (AP), and a system for achieving a machine to machine service are provided. The method includes: determining an AP that supports the M2M service; establishing a communication connection to the AP; receiving service configuration information sent by the AP; and sending a service data report message to the AP according to the service configuration information, where the service data report message includes service data corresponding to the M2M service. The M2M terminal includes a determining module, a connection module, a first receiving module, and a first sending module. The AP includes a first determining module, a connection module, a first sending module, and a first receiving module. The system includes the M2M terminal, the AP, and the M2M server according to embodiments of the present invention.
Abstract:
A terminal search method and apparatus are disclosed that relate to the field of wireless communications technologies and resolve a problem in the prior art that a terminal cannot find, without relying on support from a Location Based Service (LBS) server, another terminal that runs a same application in a local scope or an adjacent area. The method includes acquiring an application identifier; broadcasting a broadcast frame that carries the application identifier to a receiving end; receiving a message that is sent by a candidate receiving end and carries a target application identifier, where the target application identifier is selected by the candidate receiving end from the application identifier; and determining a target receiving end from the candidate receiving end, so as to establish a connection of a target application with the target receiving end. Embodiments of the present invention are mainly applied to a short-distance wireless communication process.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a device for establishing a packet data network PDN connection. A method includes: receiving, by a trusted wireless local area network access network TWAN device, a trigger message from a user equipment; obtaining, by the TWAN device, an access point name APN from the user equipment; sending, by the TWAN device, a create session request message carrying the APN to a PDN gateway; receiving, by the TWAN device, a create session response message carrying an IP address from the PDN gateway; and sending, by the TWAN device, the IP address to the user equipment. In this way, an additional PDN connection or a non-default PDN connection is established for a user equipment to extend a network access range of the user equipment.
