Abstract: The application relates to maintaining time-synchronization of a wireless connection between a network access node and a client device. The wireless connection may be configured for services with latency constraints. In one example, based on an expiry of a time alignment timer for the client device, the network access node transmits a control message to the client device. The control message instructs the client device to transmit a response signal to the network access node. The response signal can be used by the network access node to determine the timing advance for the wireless connection and adjust the timing advance.

Abstract: It is an object to provide a procedure for handling failure of a subset of serving beam pair links in wireless radio communication. A client device is configured to monitor, independently, a link quality of each serving downlink (DL) beam pair link (BPL) of the client device; detect at least one failed DL BPL based on the monitoring, where the at least one failed DL BPL is a subset of the monitored serving DL BPLs; choose an uplink, UL, BPL, where the chosen UL BPL corresponds to an available serving DL BPL of the monitored serving DL BPLs; and transmit a beam report within a predetermined time period from the detection through a non-contention-based channel using the chosen UL BPL, where the beam report indicates the at least one failed DL BPL. A client device, a network device, methods and a computer program are included.

Abstract: The application relates to methods and devices for use in a receiver circuit (200) configured to receive data in transport blocks where each transport block comprises a set of individually decodable code blocks is provided. The receiver circuit comprises a decoder (102) for decoding the received data and at least one on-chip FIFO memory (210). The receiver circuit also comprises a Layer 2 decipher unit (104), and a buffer memory (106). In the receiver circuit, a controller (220) is provided. The decoder is configured to store a correctly decoded code block in the at least one on-chip FIFO memory, and when a code block of a transport block is incorrectly decoded, store any subsequent correctly decoded code block of the same transport block in the buffer memory. Hereby an efficient receiver circuit that can be implemented using a small on-chip memory is provided.

Abstract: A client device and a corresponding method for detecting and indicating non-fulfilment of latency requirements of uplink data packets associated with an application are provided. The client device monitors transmissions of uplink data packets associated with the application, in a first layer, for non-fulfilment of latency requirements of the uplink data packets. The monitoring is based on a Quality-of-Service (QoS) monitoring configuration. Upon detection of a non-fulfilment of a latency requirement, the client device provides a first indication to a second layer. The first indication provides an early warning about non-fulfillment of latency requirements of uplink data packets. According to the application, the client device is allowed to take precautionary actions to counteract possible negative consequences of the non-fulfillment of latency requirements.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to performing phase compensation at a transmitter. A processing device for a network access node generates a phase compensated modulation symbol based on at least one first modulation symbol and at least on one of a frequency offset parameter and a time offset parameter. The frequency offset parameter may be determined based on an offset between a reference frequency f0 and a DC (0 Hz) frequency such that the frequency offset parameter corresponds to the reference frequency f0. Also, the reference frequency f0 can be at least partly based on the carrier of up-conversion frequency used by the processing device and the reference frequency f0 can be the carrier for up-conversion frequency. The phase compensated symbol is transmitted to a receiver, such as a client device. Furthermore, the disclosure also relates to corresponding methods and a computer program.
