    Abstract: A method includes: obtaining, by a terminal, to-be-transmitted uplink service data of a preset granularity; obtaining, by the terminal, a QoS requirement parameter corresponding to the to-be-transmitted uplink service data of the preset granularity; and transmitting, by the terminal, the to-be-transmitted uplink service data of the preset granularity based on the QoS requirement parameter corresponding to the to-be-transmitted uplink service data of the preset granularity. Different data processing is implemented for to-be-transmitted uplink service data of preset granularities corresponding to different QoS requirement parameters, so that QoS requirements of uplink service data of different preset granularities are satisfied.

    Abstract: The present invention provide a method for processing data packet and apparatus and the method includes: receiving or sending compression configuration information of an application layer packet; and performing compression processing or decompression processing on the application layer packet according to the compression configuration information. By using the foregoing method, compression and decompression processing of the application layer packet can be implemented, thereby reducing overheads of packet transmission and improving utilization of a network resource.

One example method includes receiving a multicast group join request sent by a terminal, adding a terminal identifier to a multicast group corresponding to a target channel identifier, where the multicast group corresponding to the target channel identifier includes an identifier of a terminal that has requested network data corresponding to the target channel identifier, and delivering the network data based on the multicast group and a group scheduling identifier corresponding to the multicast group by using an air interface resource corresponding to the multicast group, where a terminal in the multicast group decodes the air interface resource based on the group scheduling identifier to obtain the network data.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a resource indication method, a base station, and user equipment. The user equipment includes: a sending unit, configured to send a random access preamble to a base station on a physical random access channel (PRACH), where the PRACH corresponds to at least one acquisition indicator channel (AICH); a detection unit, configured to detect auxiliary indication information and detect, on the at least one AICH, feedback information sent by the base station, where the feedback information includes acquisition indicator (AI) information and extended acquisition indicator (EAI) information; and a determining unit, configured to determine, according to the feedback information and the auxiliary indication information, a resource index of a target resource allocated by the base station in M uplink transmission resources, where M is an integer greater than 32.

    Abstract: In a data transmission method and apparatus, first user equipment (UE) sends a service request message to a first network side device. The first network side device determines, according to an identifier that is of a service and that is in the service request message, a service source that can provide the first UE with data of the requested service. After determining the service source, the first network side device sends configuration information to the first UE, where the configuration information is used to establish a data transmission path between the first UE and the service source. The first UE obtains the data of the requested service from the service source by using the data transmission path, instead of obtaining the data of the requested service from a server by using the first network side device.

    Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus that are applied to discrete narrowband communication information are described. One example communication method includes sending first indication information to a terminal by a network device. The first indication information includes a frequency channel number of a start sub-band in all discrete sub-bands of a serving cell in which the terminal is currently located, a bitmap representing whether each sub-band in a frequency band belongs to the serving cell, and a frequency spacing between sub-bands in the frequency band. The frequency band is a frequency band to which all the discrete sub-bands of the serving cell belong. The network device sends second indication information to the terminal, wherein the second indication information is used to indicate a sub-band available to the terminal in all the discrete sub-bands of the serving cell.
