    Abstract: A terminal device receives a reference signal from a first cell, where time domain resources occupied by the reference signal are fewer than total time domain resources occupied by a synchronization signal block (SSB) of the first cell and system information (SI) of the first cell. The terminal device sends a wake-up signal (WUS) to the first cell, where the wake-up signal is used to wake up the first cell to send the SSB and/or the SI. In this way, the terminal device can quickly access the cell, to reduce a delay of accessing the cell by the terminal device, and improve communication performance. The time domain resources occupied by the reference signal are fewer than the total time domain resources occupied by the SSB of the first cell and the SI of the first cell.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a paging collision processing method and a related apparatus. The method includes: When a terminal device detects that a paging occasion of the terminal device in a first camped cell collides with a paging occasion of the terminal device in a second camped cell, the terminal device may determine a first paging parameter, and may send first information including the first paging parameter to a first network device corresponding to the first camped cell. The first network device sends second information including a second paging parameter to the terminal device. The terminal device determines a second paging occasion of a first identity module card of the terminal device in the first camped cell based on the second paging parameter in the received second information. The terminal device monitors a paging message in the first camped cell on the second paging occasion. The second paging occasion does not overlap a third paging occasion of a second identity module card of the terminal device in the second camped cell in terms of time. According to embodiments of this application, a paging collision that occurs when the terminal device monitors the paging message can be avoided.

    Abstract: A synchronization signal/broadcast signal block broadcast method and an apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: A first access network device RAN 1 determines to request a second access network device RAN 2 to perform resource allocation for a terminal; and the RAN 1 sends, to the RAN 2, a first message used to indicate the RAN 2 to broadcast a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel block SSB. Accordingly, the RAN 2 starts to broadcast the SSB. The first message further includes a broadcast periodicity for the SSB. The broadcast periodicity is further sent by the RAN 1 to the terminal. The RAN 2 stops, based on a specific situation, broadcasting the SSB.
