Abstract: The present disclosure describes a network status information transfer method. In one example method, a first message, transmitted by a third-party server to a user equipment (UE), is received by the UE. The first message comprises an identifier, associated with a trusted wireless local area networks (WLAN) network (TWAN), and first indication information indicating that a packet data network gateway (PGW) is overloaded. If the UE has added the identifier associated with the TWAN to a blacklist, the identifier associated with the TWAN is deleted, by the UE, from the blacklist in response to receiving the first message.

Abstract: The technology of this application relates to a communication method and apparatus, to resolve a current problem that limited bandwidth resources of a single link affect quality of service. In an example embodiment, a terminal sends a first access message to an access gateway in a second core network through a first network, and sends a second access message to the access gateway through a second network, where the first access message is encapsulated by using a first IP address. Further, the access gateway requests an AMF network element to establish two communication links for the terminal. One communication link is for the terminal to access the core network through the first network, and the other communication link is for the terminal to access the core network through the second network. Through establishment of the two communication links between the terminal and the core network, bandwidth resources can be added, and the quality of service can be improved.

The interworking function network element-control plane can then send the granularity information of the user plane connection to the interworking function network element-user plane and the access network gateway, where the granularity information of the user plane connection is used to establish the user plane connection between the interworking function network element-user plane and the access network gateway.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a session management method and an apparatus. The technology is specifically related to sending, by user equipment, a NAS message to an AGF, where the NAS message includes a PDU session establishment request message used to request to establish a PDU session, receiving, by the user equipment, a PDU session establishment accept message returned by a network side device, and establishing, by the user equipment, an access session with the AGF, where the access session is an access session related to the PDU session. The user equipment sends the NAS message to establish the PDU session, and establishes the access session with the AGF. Because the access session is related to the PDU session, the user equipment can map the PDU session to the access session, so that the user equipment accesses a 5G CN through a fixed network.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide a session establishment method and system, and a device, to resolve a prior-art problem that NAS message transfer cannot be separated from session user plane establishment and application in some scenarios is limited. In those embodiment, under the establishment method, a first non-access stratum (NAS) message is sent by a terminal to a first access network device corresponding to a first access technology, where the first NAS message is used to request to establish a session. A second NAS message from the first access network device can be received by the terminal, where the second NAS message carries an identifier of a user plane function network element. A session establishment procedure can be initiated by the terminal between the terminal and the user plane function network element based on the identifier of the user plane function network element by using a second access technology.
