Abstract:
An air flow regulating device includes a housing, an air supply unit and a circuit board which are arranged inside the housing. The air supply unit includes an impeller and a single-phase permanent magnet brushless motor configured to drive the impeller. The single-phase permanent magnet brushless motor includes a stator and a rotor which can rotate relative to the stator. The stator includes a stator core and a single-phase winding wound around the stator core. The rotor includes a shaft and a permanent magnet fixed to the shaft. Numbers of magnetic poles of the stator and the rotor are the same and not greater than six. An outer diameter of the stator core is less than 35 mm and/or an axial thickness of the stator core is between 10 mm and 20 mm.
Abstract:
A single phase brushless motor and a power tool are provided. The single phase brushless motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and windings wound around the stator core. The stator core includes a yoke and at least two teeth. The tooth includes a tooth body and a tooth tip. The tooth tip includes first and second pole shoes. The two pole shoes of each tooth are symmetrical about a center line of the tooth body. Each tooth defines a positioning groove facing the rotor between the two pole shoes. Pole shoes of adjacent two of the at least two teeth are spaced apart by a slot opening. A width of the positioning groove is greater than a width of the slot opening. The peak value of the cogging torque of the motor is increased, and the motor has a large startup torque.
Abstract:
A power tool includes a main body and a working portion. The working portion is rotatably coupled to the main body. A single phase brushless motor is mounted in the main body to drive the working portion to rotate bidirectionally. In comparison with a traditional motor, the single phase brushless motor make the power tool has a reduced size and reduced cost while ensuring the stable performance.
Abstract:
A permanent magnet brushless motor has a stator and a rotor. The stator has a yoke and s teeth extending from the yoke, forming a stator core, where s is an integer greater than four. Coils of a stator winding are wound about the teeth. The rotor has a shaft, a rotor core fixed to the shaft and a permanent magnet mounted to the rotor core. The permanent magnet forms p magnetic poles, where p is an even number greater than 2 but less than s. Each section of the permanent magnet corresponding to a respective magnetic pole is divided into n equal parts by n−1 magnet grooves, where n is an integer greater than 1 and p*n is an integral multiple of s. The magnet grooves significantly increase the detent torque of the motor.
Abstract:
A single phase motor and a hair dryer are provided. The motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and a stator winding. The stator core includes an outer ring portion, teeth extending inwardly from the outer ring portion, and two pole shoes extending from a distal end of each tooth. A winding slot is formed between each two adjacent teeth. A slot opening is disposed between the pole shoes of the adjacent teeth, and is offset from one of the two adjacent teeth. The air supplying unit includes the single phase motor and an impeller. The startup angle and cogging torque of the motor are adjustable by adjusting the position/width of the slot opening, without the need of additional positioning slots or positioning holes defined at the pole shoes, which makes the motor structure simple.
Abstract:
A drive apparatus for an electric bike includes a hollow housing body, an internal ring gear fixed to the housing body, and a main shaft. At least two motor units are mounted in the housing body. Each motor unit includes a support bracket and a number of motors mounted on the support bracket. Each motor drives the internal gear through a transmission mechanism to rotate the housing body about the main shaft. The motors share one controller. Peaks of the motor cogging torque can be staggered.
Abstract:
A brushless motor includes a stator comprising a stator core with teeth protruding inwardly and windings wound on the teeth, and a rotor comprising a shaft, a rotor core fixed to the shaft, and a ring magnet fixed to the circumferential outer surface of the rotor core. The ring magnet includes a plurality of magnetic poles radially magnetized so that north poles and south poles are arranged alternately in the circumferential direction, boundary lines between adjacent magnetic poles being skewed by an angle α relative to an axis of the shaft. A plurality of grooves are formed in a circumferential outer surface of the rotor core. Each groove extends from one axial end to the other axial end of the rotor core, has a circumferential width smaller than each of the magnetic poles, and is covered by the ring magnet with a void formed between the groove and the ring magnet.
