    摘要: In an electrical socket including a base for receiving a connection object in a predetermined direction, a plurality of contacts are held by the base and adapted to be contacted with the connection object. A pusher is rotatably held by the base and has an acting portion and an operating portion which is adapted to be operated. The pusher is continuously urged by a spring so that the connection object is brought into press contact with the contact via the acting portion. A cover is coupled to the base to be movable in the predetermined direction. One of the cover and the operating portion has a contact surface faced to the other in the predetermined direction. The other of the cover and the operating portion has a roller adapted to roll on the contact surface following the movement of the cover.

    摘要: A connector for switching between the states of the connection and non-connection to a mating connector by a cam mechanism (6) movably installed in insulators (2, 3), wherein the cam mechanism comprises a first cam (6a) and a second cam (6b). The first cam is rotatable about an axis, slidable between first and second positions in a direction parallel with the axis, and energized toward the first position by an elastic member (8). The second cam is rotated in conjunction with the first cam to provide either of the connected state and non-connected state according to a rotating angle. The first cam comprises a locked part (6a2) engaged with the lock part (3b3) of the insulator in the rotating direction thereof when positioned at the first position and disengaged from the lock part when positioned at the second position.

    摘要: A right-angle electrical connector comprising a plurality of contacts supported on an insulator body, the contacts having a length equal to one another and having opposite ends projecting in different directions normal to each other and coming into contact with first and second connection objects, respectively, to be electrically connected by the connector. Each of the contacts comprises two portions extending in the different directions. The ratio of two portions of each one of contacts is different from that of the different one of contacts. In order to avoid production of various contacts which are different from one another in shape and dimension, the connector comprises a main element of an insulator substrate and conductive strip lines formed thereon, and contact elements like one another fixed to the insulator substrate to project from, and in directions normal to, adjacent side edges of the insulator substrate, respectively. The conductive strip lines have a length equal to each other and first and second ends near the adjacent side edges and are electrically connected to the contact elements. The contact elements are used for making connection with the first and the second connection objects.
