摘要: An ultrasonic trimming apparatus is composed of an articulated robot, a cutting apparatus, and a grindstone. The cutting apparatus is composed of an ultrasonic oscillator which is supported by the end portion of the articulated robot, a cutter blade which is supported by the ultrasonic oscillator, and a workpiece securing portion which secures a workpiece. The grindstone serving as a grinding member is disposed within the movable range of the cutter blade driven by the robot and is placed in a position at which the cutter blade can pressure contact the cutter blade. The cutter blade is ultrasonically vibrated by the ultrasonic oscillator and is ground while being pressed against the grindstone by means of the articulated robot. The ultrasonic trimming apparatus efficiently cuts a sheet material composed of soft material such as plastic, fabric, or rubber, a composite material, or a material containing glass fiber by means of an environmentally conscious method even when the material has a three-dimensional shape.

摘要: An antenna device is provided in which a common mode current does not flow in a coaxial cable. The coaxial cable is uprighted at the end of the base plate and bent toward the notched portion of the cover so that the connector reaches to the notched portion. A short-circuit stub structure is provided in such a manner that a part of the outer sheath of the coaxial cable is removed to expose the outer conductor and a ring-shaped metal terminal is crimped to the exposed outer conductor. The ring-shaped metal terminal is fixed by using a screw to an acceptance member made of a stainless steel provided on the base plate. The terminal is provided at the position within 0.25λ from the feeding point of the ground antenna element.

摘要: An organic compound having an affinity for a resin of a molded resin article and sublimation properties is allowed to penetrate/disperse into the surface of the molded resin article, thereby modifying and/or coloring a resin surface layer. The molded resin article and the organic compound having the affinity for the resin and the sublimation properties are put into a tightly closable container, and the pressure and the temperature in the container are adjusted to place them in a saturated sublimation pressure state of the organic compound, whereby a vapor of the organic compound is uniformly deposited on the surface of the molded resin article and it further penetrates/disperses into the resin surface layer, and in consequence, the resin surface layer can be modified and/or colored. In addition, the modification of the resin surface layer permits imparting a function thereto.

摘要: An optical path switching method according to the present invention comprises converging and irradiating, on a light absorption layer film provided in a thermal lens forming element (1, 2, 3) including at least the light absorption layer film, each of a control light (121, 122, 123) having a wavelength selected from a wavelength band which is absorbed by the light absorption layer film and a signal light (110, 111, 112) having a wavelength selected from a wavelength band which is not absorbed by the light absorption layer film. Arrangement of the light absorption layer film is adjusted such that at least the control light focuses within the light absorption layer film. A thermal lens is reversibly formed according to a distribution of refraction index created by a temperature increase generated in and around an area of the light absorption layer film in which the control light is absorbed, such that, according to whether or not the control light is irradiated, the converged signal light is output either as is in its converged form or after its spread angle is changed and a mirror (61, 62, 63) including a hole and reflecting means, the signal light output from the thermal lens forming element is either passed through the hole or reflected by the reflecting means to change the optical path.
