摘要： A stripline RF transmission cable has a plurality of generally planar inner conductors surrounded by a dielectric layer that is surrounded by an outer conductor. The inner conductors may be aligned coplanar, inner conductor edge to inner conductor edge, separated by the dielectric layer. Alternatively, the inner conductors may be provided in a vertical stack. A shield element may be applied between the inner conductors. The shield element may be electrically coupled to the outer conductor to entirely isolate the inner conductors from one another.

摘要： A solder pre-form for soldering a coaxial cable to a connector body is provided with a plurality of flux grooves on a cable side and a connector side. The solder pre-form may also have a plurality of holes between the cable and connector sides. In a method of use, flux is applied to the flux grooves and the solder pre-form applied to encircle the outer conductor which is then inserted into the connector body and the solder pre-form melted to complete the solder interconnection. Where holes are present, flux may be applied to the connector side, passing through the holes also to the cable side.

摘要： A one-piece spring clip is provided for retaining a gas tube element used in a surge arrestor having a cap with an interior portion. The spring clip includes a generally flat disk having a periphery, a first side and a second side. A plurality of first tabs extend from the first side of the disk at the periphery thereof to retain the gas tube element. A plurality of second tabs extend from the second side of the disk at the periphery thereof to provide a spring force between the interior portion of the cap and the gas tube element.

The corrugations may be, for example, annular or helical. The outer conductor has a top section and a bottom section which transition to a pair of edge sections that interconnect the top section with the bottom section. The top section, bottom section and the inner conductor may be provided with generally equal widths. A spacing between the inner conductor and the dielectric layer may be reduced proximate a mid section of the inner conductor. The inner conductor may also be corrugated generally normal to a longitudinal extend of the inner conductor.
