    摘要： A battery control device for a battery module includes a plurality of integrated circuits. Each integrated circuit includes: a constant voltage circuit that lowers a total voltage of a battery cell group corresponding to the integrated circuit to an integrated circuit internal voltage; a signal generation circuit that generates, based upon a first signal provided by a higher-order control circuit, a second signal assuming a wave height value different from a wave height value of the first signal and outputs the second signal; and a startup circuit that includes a first comparator assuming a first decision-making threshold value corresponding to the first signal and a second comparator assuming a second decision-making threshold value corresponding to the second signal, and starts up the constant voltage circuit in response to a change in an output from at least either the first comparator or the second comparator.

The first control device comprises a selection circuit that selects terminal voltages at individual lithium battery cells, a voltage measurement circuit that measures the selected terminal voltages, balancing switches used to discharge individual lithium battery cells, a balancing switch control circuit that controls open/close of the balancing switches, and a diagnosis circuit for detecting an electrically abnormal connection in the detection harnesses.

    摘要： Oscillating circuitry built in integrated circuitry (1) comprises a ring oscillator (31) for generating a first clock, an external oscillator (40) capable of generating a second clock in either one of two oscillating modes which is determined according to an external circuit (12 and 13, or 6 through 8) connected to terminals (2 and 3) thereof, and an internal clock selection circuit (41) which delivers the first clock as an internal clock to the integrated circuitry (1) just after the integrated circuitry (1) is activated or reset, stops the delivery of the first clock and simultaneously furnishes a signal held at a logic high level as the internal clock in response to a control signal for instructing a selection of the second clock, and then determines whether or not the external oscillator (40) is generating the second clock properly, and which furnishes the second clock as the internal clock when it determines that the external oscillator (40) is generating the second clock properly.
