摘要: A cab mounting assembly connecting a cab and a frame is configured so that grease is supplied to contact portions to prevent wear and noise. The cab mounting assembly hinge-connects a frame of a vehicle and a cab in which an occupant sits. A collar is disposed outside a fixing bolt hinge-connecting the frame and the cab. A hinge cushion is fitted around the collar to buffer vibration transmitted to the cab. At least one surface of an internal surface of the hinge cushion and an external surface of the collar is provided with a groove through which oil supplied into the hinge cushion flows to an end portion of the hinge cushion.

摘要: A transmission shaft assembly for a rolling stand for use in a metal rolling mill. The transmission shaft assembly transmits lubricant through the assembly. The transmission shaft assembly includes a shaft having an outer periphery and defining a centrally positioned longitudinal opening extending from a first end to an opposed second end of the shaft. The shaft defines a plurality of internal passageways in the shaft. The transmission shaft assembly also includes a rotary distributor mounted on the outer periphery of the shaft. The shaft assembly provides a conduit for the lubricant through the plurality of internal passageways in the shaft.

摘要: A grease tool lubricates a valve having an actuator assembly for moving a valve element of the valve. The tool has a housing with a piston carried in a bore. The housing is open for inserting and sealing a portion of the actuator assembly into the bore. A fill port in the housing allows grease to be introduced into the bore. A piston rod joins the piston and has external threads engaging internal threads of the housing, so that rotating the piston rod causes the piston to move axially. A lever is mounted to the housing for imparting rotation to the housing. A lock pin extends through a side wall of the housing to engage the actuator assembly to cause the actuator assembly to rotate in unison with the housing.

The film contains carbon (C), titanium (Ti), and boron (B), is obtained by repeatedly and alternately layering a first layer containing amorphous carbon as a principal component and a second layer containing C and Ti as principal components, and has hardness of 18 GPa or more.

摘要: Lubricating means are provided for lubricating track rollers for track-type vehicles including conventional support bushing bolt holes modified to communicate with existing lubricant reservoirs via radial passages formed between the bolt holes and the reservoirs. Removal of one of the bolts from the modified bolt hole and loosening of another such bolt pemits filling and venting of the corresponding reservoir for replenishing lubricant as necessary, either in the factory or field.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an arrangement in an articulated joint of a work machine wherein at least two machine parts are rotatably fastened to each other with a conical sleeve shaft joint in which a conical sleeve is pressed against a conical sleeve shaft by an intermediate plate. This intermediate plate includes members for receiving a channel and for connecting the channel to a lubrication channel. The members are formed on the intermediate plate's outer casing which connects a counter-surface to a pressing surface on the side of the conical sleeve to provide a continuous passage for the conical sleeve shaft of the articulated joint.

摘要: An improved device and method of lubrication for a tongue jack, 5th wheel jack, or other jack or other threaded positioning device. Ports are provided in the inner and outer tubes of the jack. The aligned ports provide access to a lubrication cavity in the jacknut. The lubrication cavity may include a grease fitting such as a zerk fitting. When the ports are in alignment, a grease gun can be inserted easily to the zerk fitting to apply grease to the interior structure of the nut as well as to the threads of the jackscrew. The lubricant may be introduced directly at a region of contact between a screw and the load bearing element. Applicant's test results show that this improved lubrication can increase the life cycle of the jack by more than 100%.
