摘要: The present invention provides a protection circuit module (PCM) insert injection mold, and a battery having the same. The PCM insert injection mold is made by inserting a PCM, including a plate having protection circuit formed thereon and connection terminals and optionally leads, with the protection circuit plate, connection terminals and leads being electrically connected, into an inner space of a mold, and injecting a molten resin into the inner space of the mold such that the leads are partially exposed to the outside where the PCM includes the leads, or such that the connection terminals are partially exposed to the outside where the PCM does not include the leads. Since the PCM is prepared by insert injection molding under the condition that the protection circuit and battery cell are not connected, i.e., that power is not applied to a battery, the PCM can be molded using general resins, is electrically stable, does not require a coating step for preventing short circuit, and is rare electrically damaged.

摘要: A method for electronic commerce using a security token and an apparatus thereof are provided. The electronic commerce method using a security token comprises a transaction approval institution generating a security token based on a security assertion markup language (SAML), using credit information of a purchaser who requests to issue a security token, and transmitting the security token to the purchaser; the purchaser writing an electronic signature on an order and transmitting the order together with the security token to a seller; the seller verifying the received order and security token, and then delivering goods according to the order to the purchaser; and the transaction approval institution performing payment for the seller and the purchaser. The method can solve the problems of personal information leakage and privacy infringement that may happen when a purchaser sends his personal information to a seller for electronic commerce. Since the token is one-time-use data, even if a security token sent is counterfeited or stolen, the loss can be minimized. In addition, by writing an extensible markup language (XML) electronic signature in the security token, authentication, integrity, and non-repudiation for a transmitted message can be guaranteed and through simple object access protocol (SOAP) security technology, confidentiality is maintained.

摘要: Provided is a method and apparatus for authenticating a fingerprint by hiding minutiae, securely storing information on the fingerprint, and authenticating the information on the fingerprint in order to prevent the information on the fingerprint from being reused by an attacker who accesses the information on the fingerprint that is stored in a storage unit. The method for recognizing fingerprint by hiding minutiae of a fingerprint adds fake minutiae information to genuine minutiae information, hides fingerprint information using a polynomial, which is generated based on personal intrinsic information, and stores the fingerprint information, thereby securely protecting the fingerprint information from an external attacker, and preventing the fingerprint information accessed by the attacker from being reused since the attacker cannot know the genuine minutiae.

摘要: Provided are a key authentication/service system and method using one-time authentication code. In the system and method, a key management client sends a key management server a message requesting transmission of a message for generating authentication code required to request a key management service. Next, the key management server creates a challenge message based on a challenge/response method using the received message. Next, the key management client generates the one-time authentication code using the challenge message and transmits it along with a message requesting a key management service to the key management server. Next, the key management server receives the one-time authentication code from the key management client and checks whether the one-time authentication code is certified to determine whether the key management client has a right to use the key management service. Then, the key management server provides the key management service to the key management client when it is determined that the key management client has a right to use this service.

摘要: An electrical connection structure, and a secondary battery pack using the same are disclosed. The structure comprises an electrical connection member which includes an insulating body for insulating a PCM from a battery cell, and cathode and anode leads mounted on the insulating body in a state of being electrically insulated from each other. One or both of the cathode and anode leads are welded to associated electrode terminals of the battery cell. The cathode and anode leads are connected in a contact state to associated electrode taps of the PCM when engaging the PCM to the battery cell. The connection structure allows only the electrode leads to be welded to the battery cell, and allows the electrode terminals to be connected to the electrode taps through contact without an additional welding operation, thereby remarkably reducing the number of assembling steps, lowering manufacturing costs and preventing malfunction.

摘要: Provided is a fingerprint matching method and apparatus using fingerprint minutiae and fingerprint binary images. The method includes: constructing a template fingerprint database by extracting minutiae information and a binary image of a first fingerprint image; and extracting minutiae information and a binary image of a second fingerprint image to be authenticated and performing authentication by aligning the extracted minutiae information and the binary image of the second fingerprint image with data in the template fingerprint database. Accordingly, the fingerprint matching using the fingerprint binary images is additionally performed, thereby reducing a false acceptance rate (FAR) compared to a conventional minutia-based fingerprint authentication method.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a secondary battery having a loop antenna, wherein the loop antenna is patterned on a protection circuit board, which is mounted or attached to a battery cell such that the protection circuit board can be electrically connected to the battery cell, for transmitting and receiving radio frequency signals. In the secondary battery according to the present invention, the loop antenna for transmitting and receiving radio frequency signals is patterned on the protection circuit board, which is mounted or attached to the battery cell. Consequently, the generation of noise in the flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) or liquid crystal display (LCD) signal of a device, in which the secondary battery is mounted, is effectively prevented, and interference due to the generated noise is greatly reduced. Furthermore, no additional space for the installation of the loop antenna is necessary, whereby the reduction in the size, especially, the thickness, and the weight of the secondary battery is accomplished. Also, the conventional expensive outer-type loop antenna is not used, and therefore, the manufacturing costs of the secondary battery can be greatly reduced. The secondary battery with the above-stated construction according to the present invention is preferably used for the inner pack-type secondary battery.
