More specifically disclosed is an apparatus for the imprinting, perforating, slitting and cutting the laminated web structure such that the severed laminate segments constitute printed covering label for an array of such containers, and whereby the laminated web or sheeting segment may be severed along weakening or perforation lines so as to provide a separable packaging arrangement for individual of the containers which are subsequently adhered thereto.

The apparatus includes a light source section, a recognizing section, a moving device, and an operating section. The light source section is disposed transversely of a board so as to illuminate one side of the board. The recognizing section includes lenses, which are disposed transversely of the board so as to face the board from an opposite side relative to the light source section. The recognizing section also includes line image sensors disposed transversely of the board for receiving light rays from the lenses. The moving device is operable to move both the light source section and the recognizing section without changing the relative positions of these sections but moves them in such a way as to change their respective positions relative to the board. The operating section is operable to calculate image data for the entire board from image information obtained by the recognizing section and from position information obtained by the moving device.

The composition is essentially composed of a diorganopolysiloxane terminated at both chain ends with vinyl groups as the base component, optionally, in combination of a copolymeric organopolysiloxane composed of vinyl-containing monofunctional siloxane units and tetrafunctional siloxane units SiO.sub.2, an organohydrogen-polysiloxane having at least three silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule as a crosslinking agent by the addition reaction with the vinyl groups in the base component, a platinum catalyst to accelerate the above addition reaction and an alkoxy silane having an aliphatically unsaturated group which serves as a "self-bonding" improver in the composition with or without the addition of a filler.
