An air hole (15c) is formed in the midway of the air pipe (15) in addition to an end opening (15a). A covering portion (11d) is formed as a holding portion in the rear wall (11a) for covering the air hole (15c) from above and for holding the air pipe (15).

    摘要: A display device reduces the image quality degradations by suppressing the effect of the defective alignment regions caused by the spacers while minimizing the aperture ratio lowering, and prevents the image quality change dependent on the observation positions. The display device has a display panel and a lenticular lens. Each unit pixel of the display panel includes the sub-pixel for the left eye and the sub-pixel for the right eye. To keep the pair of substrates at a predetermined gap, spacers are arranged at predetermined positions in the gap. The spacers are stripe-shaped and extended along a direction perpendicular to the image separation axis of the lenticular lens. The spacers are equally overlapped with the sub-pixels for the left eye and those for the right eye. The spacers may be isolated for the respective unit pixels, or the first or second sub-pixels.

    摘要: An image display device includes a display element having a unit of display comprising sub pixels displaying images for first and second view points, respectively, and an optical unit that distributes lights emitted from respective sub pixels into different directions. When a region surrounded by a data line, a gate line and a storage capacitor electrode in the sub pixel is defined as an aperture, the sub pixels form a base unit that is an adjoining pixel pair including two sub pixels arranged via a data line therebetween. The two sub pixels have switching elements connected to the data line between the two sub pixels and controlled by different gate lines. When virtual lines each evenly dividing a width of the sub pixel in the first direction into K+1 pieces are presumed, K number of storage capacitor lines are each arranged across at least one virtual line in the aperture.

    摘要: To overcome issues generated due to the light-shield part in a display device which displays different images towards a plurality of viewpoints, and to provide a device for easily synthesizing images to be displayed on a display part. A display controller includes: an image memory which stores viewpoint image data for a plurality of viewpoints; a writing control device which writes the viewpoint image data inputted from outside to the image memory; a parameter storage device which stores parameters showing a positional relation between a lenticular lens and the display part; and a readout control device which reads out the viewpoint image data from the image memory according to a readout order obtained by applying the parameters to a repeating regulation that is determined based on layout of the sub-pixels, number of colors, and layout of the colors, and outputs it to the display module as synthesized image data.
