    摘要: According to the present invention, a rolling bearing for supporting a rotary shaft of an automotive accessory includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements interposed between the inner and outer rings, and grease. The grease has a withstand pressure greater than a predetermined range in which plastic deformation of at least one of surfaces of the inner and outer rings and rolling elements occurs in absence of an elastohydrodynamic lubrication film of the grease on the surface. With such a configuration, it is possible to reliably avoid plastic deformation of the inner and outer rings and rolling elements regardless of presence of elastohydrodynamic lubrication films between the inner and outer rings and the rolling elements. As a result, brittle flaking is reliably prevented from occurring in the rolling bearing.

    摘要: There is provided a method and apparatus for designing a rolling bearing provided with components including rolling elements, an outer ring, and an inner ring which come into contact with each other. First, it is determined whether or not adiabatic shear bands have a potential for occurrence within at least one of the components, due to the fact that stress is applied to the components, thus causing high deformation rates in the at least one of the components to cause an unstable plastic phenomenon that brings about an adiabatic shear deformation state within the at least one of the components. Then an estimation is made such that brittle flaking resulting from the adiabatic shear bands have a potential for occurrence within the at least one of the components, when it is determined that the adiabatic shear bands have a potential for occurrence.

    摘要: An automotive alternator includes a rotary shaft, a pulley, a stator, a rotor, and a magnetic fluctuation suppressor. The pulley is provided on the rotary shaft to transmit rotating power from an engine to the rotary shaft. The stator includes a stator winding. The rotor is mounted on the rotary shaft and configured to provide a first rotating magnetic field to the stator. The magnetic fluctuation suppressor includes a magnetic body and a magnetic source. The magnetic body is mounted on the rotary shaft such that the magnetic body is rotatable along with the rotary shaft at a rotational speed different from that of the rotary shaft. The magnetic source is fixed to the rotary shaft so as to create a second rotating magnetic field which induces a magnetic attraction between the magnetic body and the magnetic source, by which fluctuations in rotational movement of the rotary shaft are suppressed.

    摘要: A vehicle alternator for generating electric power is driven by an engine mounted on a vehicle driven through a driving belt. The alternator has a pulley part joined to and directly receiving a driving force from the engine through the driving belt, a field magnet part located in separation from the pulley part, a rotation speed changing part placed between the pulley part and the field magnet part. The rotation speed changing part converts the number of revolutions between the pulley part and the field magnet part. The rotation speed changing part decreases a speed changing ratio “S” according to increasing of the number of revolutions of the engine, where the speed changing ratio “S” is obtained by dividing the number of revolutions of the field magnet part by the number of revolutions of the pulley part.

    摘要: In an alternator stator for vehicle, each of the phase-windings includes first and second coil-end groups at opposite axial ends the stator core. Each of the slots includes radially aligned six layers. Each of the phase-windings comprises a plurality of sets of U-shaped segments disposed in a pair of slots separated from each other by a pole-pitch and a plurality of connection segments formed from the U-shaped segments. Each of the sets includes a large segment having a pair of the conductor members disposed in the innermost and the outermost layers, a medium segment having a pair of the conductor members disposed in the layers inside the innermost and the outermost layers to be surrounded by the large segment at the first coil-end group, a small segment having a pair of conductor members respectively disposed in the middle two layers to be surrounded by the medium segment at the first coil-end group. The small segment of one of the sets is connected in series with the small segment of another adjacent thereto at the second coil-end group to form a wave winding. The large segment of one of the sets is connected in series with the medium segment of another of the sets adjacent thereto at the second coil-end group to form a lap winding. The wave winding and the lap winding are connected in series by the connection segments to form one of the plurality of phase-windings.

    摘要: The present invention provides a compact, efficient and noiseless alternator for an automotive vehicle which employs a double-layer coil arrangement in a slot for eliminating coil end interference as well as improving the space factor. An automotive alternator comprises a Lundel-type core rotor with 16 poles, and a stator with toothed portions of 96 poles spaced by slots. U-shaped conductor segments are installed in the slots. One portion of the conductor is accommodated in an outer layer portion of a predetermined slot, while the other portion is accommodated in an inner layer portion of a slot phase shifted by an electric angle of 180°. In this manner, all of the slots are separated into the inner and outer layers to accommodate a plurality of conductor segments. These conductor segments are connected only at one side of the stator to form a total of twelve wavy winding coils. These twelve wavy winding coils are divided into three groups each consisting of a serial connection of four wavy windings to constitute one phase of a three-phase stator coil.
