    Abstract: The disclosed method for processing a broadcast signal for 3D (3-Dimensional) broadcast service comprises encoding 2D (2-Dimensional) video stream including a 2D video frame, encoding depth information including depth of a 3D image relative to a plane of a display, encoding signaling information for signaling the encoded 2D video stream and the depth information, wherein the signaling information includes a 3D service location descriptor including codec type information specifying encoding type of the encoded depth information, generating the broadcast signal including the encoded 2D video stream, depth information and signaling information, and transmitting the generated broadcast signal.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a signal processing device and an image display apparatus including the same. A signal processing device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: an input interface to receive an image signal; a first image processor to generate first image frame data based on the image signal; a second image processor to generate second image frame data scaled down from the first image frame data based on the image signal; and an output interface to receive the first image frame data from the first image processor and the second image frame data from the second image processor and to output the first image frame data and the second image frame data, wherein the first image frame data output from the output interface is more delayed than the second image frame data output from the output interface. Accordingly, a timing controller may accurately and rapidly perform signal processing for a panel.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a video wall. The video wall according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a plurality of displays; an image divider configured to divide an input image into a plurality of images; and at least one controller, wherein in response to a video being repeatedly played back, the at least one controller is configured to calculate an accumulated luminance value for each block on the plurality of displays during a first period when the video is repeatedly played back and calculate a luminance compensation value for each block based on the calculated accumulated luminance, and the plurality of displays display the video based on the luminance compensation value during a second period following the first period. Accordingly, an afterimage occurring due to the repeatedly played video may be reduced.

    Abstract: An image display apparatus is disclosed. The image display apparatus includes a current calculator configured to calculate pixel current of an input image, an accumulated current calculator configured to calculate accumulated current of the input image, and an afterimage reducer configured to output a second brightness level less than a brightness level of the input image with respect to a detection region if a level of the accumulated current is equal to or greater than a reference value. Thus, the lifespan of an image display apparatus including an organic light emitting diode panel is increased.
