Abstract:
The present invention suggests a method for transmitting a broadcasting signal. The method for transmitting a broadcasting signal, according to the present invention, suggests a system capable of supporting a next-generation broadcasting service in an environment which supports next-generation hybrid broadcasting, using a terrestrial broadcasting network and an Internet network. In addition, the present invention suggests an efficient signaling scheme which can cover both the terrestrial broadcasting network and the Internet network in an environment supporting next-generation hybrid broadcasting.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to providing a method and/or an apparatus for transmitting/receiving a broadcast signal for a 3-dimensional (3D) broadcast service. The method for transmitting a broadcast signal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: downsampling each of a left picture frame, a right picture frame, a depth picture frame for the left picture frame and a depth picture frame for the right picture frame, and encoding a packed frame which packs at least one frame of the downsampled frames into one frame, generating a broadcast signal comprising signaling information for the encoded packed frame and a picture related to the packed frame; and sending the generated broadcast signal.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving a broadcast signal for a trick play are disclosed. The broadcast signal transmitting method includes encoding video data to create a video elementary stream (ES), creating a packetized elementary stream (PES) including the video elementary stream (ES), creating a transport stream (TS) including the created PES, wherein the TS includes PVR assist information for executing a trick play, the PVR assist information includes tier number information and maximum temporal identification information, and the tier number information indicates a tier number having a value obtained by adding 1 to a temporal identification information value of a picture different from a RAP picture and the maximum temporal identification information indicates a maximum temporal identification information value of the video elementary stream (ES) including the encoded video data, and transmitting the created TS.
Abstract:
A signal transmitting and receiving device and a method of controlling the signal transmitting and receiving device are disclosed. The method of controlling the signal transmitting and receiving device includes de-multiplexing a stream including video data and signaling information, decoding de-multiplexed signaling information and video data, and extracting information on a crop region from decoded signaling information. The signal transmitting and receiving device includes a de-multiplexing unit de-multiplexing a stream including video data and signaling information, a signaling information decoding unit decoding de-multiplexed signaling information, a video decoder decoding video data in a de-multiplexed video stream, a control unit extracting information on a crop region from decoded signaling information, and a display unit.
Abstract:
The present invention suggests a method of providing subtitles for a 360 content, the method comprising: generating 360 video data captured by at least one camera; stitching the 360 video data; projecting the 360 video data to a 2D image; encoding the 2D image into a video stream; generating a 360 subtitle Supplemental Enhancement Information (SEI) message for signaling a subtitle for the 360 content; inserting the 360 subtitle SEI message into the video stream; and generating a broadcast signal including the video stream, and transmitting the broadcast signal.
Abstract:
A media data transmission method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: generating a media file including three-dimensional (3D) video data and meta data; and transmitting the media file, wherein the media file includes, as at least one track, left view image data and right view image data of the 3D video data, and the meta data can include stereoscopic composition type information on the 3D video data.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for managing license information for playing secure high definition content. The method includes receiving a certificate revision list (CRL) from a license server, receiving encrypted license information allowing a playback of the content through a first session established between a storage device and the license server wherein the first session is identified by session identification information, and playing the content based on the license information.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for transceiving a broadcast signal including a subtitling service. One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for transmitting a broadcast signal, comprising the steps of: encoding video data to generate a video stream; generating a broadcast signal including the generated video stream and a subtitle stream; and transmitting the generated broadcast signal. According to the embodiment of the present invention, a transmission stream which provides a digital broadcast subtitling service using an XML subtitle can be transmitted.
