Abstract: A battery alignment system includes a housing having a groove along a side of the housing, a first set of surfaces that define a recess, and first electrical contacts positioned at least partially within the recess. The battery alignment system also includes a battery having a tab to slide within the groove of the housing to facilitate a first alignment, a second set of surfaces that protrude from an end of the battery to slide into the recess of the housing to facilitate a second alignment, and a third surface that extends from one of the second set of surfaces. The third surface engages one of the first set of surfaces to facilitate a third alignment. The battery also includes second electrical contacts that engage the first electrical contacts.

Abstract: A system and method for wireless power transfer. The system includes a transmit coil having a first magnetic field having a first magnitude. The system also includes a receive coil, magnetically coupled to the transmit coil, having a second magnetic field having a second magnitude. The system also includes an electronic processor electrically coupled to the transmit coil and communicatively coupled to the receive coil. The electronic processor is configured to determine the first magnitude of the first magnetic field. The electronic processor is further configured to receive the second magnitude of the second magnetic field. The electronic processor is further configured to determine an efficiency based on the first magnitude and the second magnitude, and determine a power level for the transmit coil based on the efficiency.

Abstract: Methods and systems for displaying messages using body-worn electronic display devices. One method includes receiving proximity data indicating a distance between a first electronic display device and a second electronic display device. The method also includes receiving first orientation data indicating an orientation of the first electronic display device and receiving second orientation data indicating an orientation of the second electronic display device. The method also includes determining a distributed message for display based on the proximity data, the first orientation data, and the second orientation data. The distributed message includes a first message for display on the first electronic display device and a second message for display on the second electronic display device. The method also includes displaying, by a controller, the first message on the first electronic display device and the second message on the second electronic display device.

Abstract: An audio device (100) provides an on-ear speaker housing (110), an adjustable shaft (120), and a malleable ear loop (130) coupled to the adjustable shaft. The adjustable shaft (120) controls vertical movement of the malleable ear loop (130). The malleable ear loop (130) can be fit about a user's ear with its height being adjusted by the adjustable shaft 120. The adjustable shaft further controls rotation of the on-ear speaker housing (110). The rotation of the on-ear speaker housing (110) allows for user adjustable left ear mounting or right ear mounting with a single device.
