    摘要: A method and apparatus for a graphical user interface system are provided. The graphical user interface system includes one or more display devices that provide a passive display space, an active display space, and an exchange area. The active display space and the exchange area are provided on a single display device. One or more objects are displayed in the passive display space and a visual representation of each object of the one or more object is displayed in the exchange area. A selection is received in the exchange area of a visual representation of a first object displayed in the passive display space. In response to receiving the selection, the first object is displayed in the active display space. While displayed in the active display space, the first object is operable in response to commands received through the graphical user interface system.

    摘要: A process of assigning video analytics tasks to computing devices. In operation, an electronic computing device obtains predicted scene data associated with a scene corresponding to which video data is to be captured at a particular time period using a video camera. The electronic computing device then estimates, based on the predicted scene data, an edge computing cost to be incurred to complete execution of a video analytics task at one or more edge computing devices and a cloud computing cost to be incurred to complete execution of the same video analytics task at one or more cloud computing devices. If the edge computing cost is lower than the cloud computing cost, then the electronic computing device assigns the video analytics task to the edge computing devices. Otherwise, then the electronic computing device assigns the video analytics task to the cloud computing devices.

    摘要: Electronic processing systems and methods for collaborating between vehicular threat detection appliances. One system includes a memory, a transceiver, an electronic processor, and a first vehicular 360-degree threat detection appliance that is physically coupled to a first vehicle. The electronic processor is configured to identify a portion of the first vehicular 360-degree threat detection appliance having an obstructed field-of-view. The electronic processor is also configured to detect a second vehicular 360-degree threat detection appliance that is physically coupled to a second vehicle and has an unobstructed field-of-view of the obstructed field-of-view. The electronic processor is further configured to transmit a request to the second vehicular 360-degree threat detection appliance to provide threat detection coverage for the first vehicle in a direction of the obstructed field-of-view. The electronic processor is also configured to temporarily disable the portion of the first vehicular 360-degree threat detection appliance that has the obstructed field-of-view.

    摘要: Using sensor hubs for tracking an object. One system includes a first sensor hub and a second sensor hub. The first sensor hub includes a first audio sensor and a first electronic processor. In response to determining that one or more words captured by the first audio sensor is included in the list of trigger words, the first electronic processor generates a first voice signature of a voice of an unidentified person, generates a tracking profile, and transmits the tracking profile to the second sensor hub. The second sensor hub receives the tracking profile and includes a second electronic processor, a second audio sensor, and a camera. In response to determining that a second voice signature matches the first voice signature, the second electronic processor is configured to determine a visual characteristic of the unidentified person based on an image from the camera and update the tracking profile.

    摘要: A head-mounted display for displaying out of focus notification. The head-mounted display includes a display projector, a lens system, and an eye tracking assembly capable of tracking a direction of an eye. The head-mounted display further includes an electronic processor that controls the display projector based on received data from the eye tracking assembly. The electronic processor determines, based on received data from the eye tracking assembly, at least one of a first focal distance, a second focal distance, and a third focal distance. The electronic processor controls the display projector to display an icon associated with a notification at the second focal distance. The second focal distance is out of focus with respect to the first focal distance. The electronic processor further controls the display projector to display information associated with the notification in response to changes in focal distance determined by the electronic processor.
