Abstract:
A system, method, and base station antenna for improved coverage in a cellular mobile telephony network. Each cell in the network has an area defined by azimuth and range limits. In the system, a first cell and a second cell are essentially adjacent to each other in azimuth. A third cell has an azimuth limit that is essentially equal to the total azimuths of the first and second cells, and has a range coverage that is shorter than the ranges of the first or second cells. The base station antenna forms separate “conventional” beams for the first and second cells, and forms a “near cell” beam for the third cell.
Abstract:
An antenna arrangement comprising an input/output connection and a first and a second tuning network with different transfer functions. The arrangement additionally comprises an antenna and a switch for connecting the input/output connection of the arrangement to one of said tuning networks, with a second switch for connecting the antenna of the arrangement to the tuning network to which the input/output connection of the arrangement has been connected. The arrangement comprises a sensor for sensing a form factor of the arrangement or of an apparatus in which the arrangement is used, and said sensor can be used for influencing said first and second switches, so that a device which has been connected to the arrangement may be connected to the antenna via a tuning network optimal for the current form factor of the arrangement.
Abstract:
A device with shared power amplifiers for use in a wireless telecommunication System. A plurality of input signals are tapered to alter the phase and/or amplitude distribution between the signals and are then distributed over the input ports of a plurality of power amplifiers. Power amplified replicas of the plurality of input signals are recreated at the output ports of the power amplifiers. The power amplified replicas of the signals are reverse tapered at an output of the device.

Abstract:
Compounds and a method for imaging myocardial perfusion, including administering to a patient a compound linked to an imaging moiety, wherein the compound binds MC-1, and scanning the patient using diagnostic imaging. Kits including the compound or precursor compounds linked or not linked to an imaging moiety are also described.
Abstract:
A medical closure device serves for coupling to a discharge opening of a device protruding from a mammalian body. The medical closure device includes a coupling part for engaging a part of the device protruding from the mammalian body. The coupling part is a circumferential flexible member delimiting a coupling opening configurable between a relaxed configuration where the coupling opening cannot pass over the medical device and a stressed configuration where the coupling opening of the coupling part can pass over the medical device. The coupling part has a securing member for securing the coupling part to a closure part, such as a cap, an ostomy bag, a catheter, or an irrigation device, for subsequent closure of a discharge opening.
