    摘要: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines in which by means of an obliquely extending control groove on the jacket face of a distributor, the end of injection can be varied by opening a relief conduit during the displacement of the distributor. The injection onset is made to follow this variable end of injection by providing that the stroke position of the pump pistons of the fuel injection pump is ascertained at the end of injection by a transducer, by means of which at the same time a metering duration of a magnetic valve that has already been opened at the time of the end of the injection stroke is controlled. In this manner, with a radial piston pump so embodied, the opportunity is afforded of accurately adjusting the quantity of fuel to be metered by means of a magnetic valve, even with variable injection times. All that needs to be done is that the magnetic valve be closed exactly and rapidly at the end of metering, while an error in opening on the part of the magnetic valve does not occur. In this manner, a very precise metering of the fuel to be injected is attained with simple means.

    摘要: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, in which beyond a predetermined remnant stroke during the supply stroke of the pump piston a relief conduit is opened via a first control edge and the remaining fuel pumped by the pump piston is pumped into a reservoir connected there. During the subsequent intake stroke, the diverted fuel is pumped back into the pump work chamber of the pump piston, until the first control edge again closes the relief conduit. During the subsequent intake stroke of the pump piston, in particular at the bottom dead center position of the pump piston, the relief conduit to the reservoir is once again opened by a second control edge, and then a complete relief of the reservoir is attained. It is during this phase that the metering of the fuel to be injected during the next supply stroke of the pump piston also takes place, via a magnetic valve. With an apparatus of this kind, it is advantageous that the fuel quantity per supply stroke of the pump piston that is actually to be injected can be metered exactly by means of a magnetic valve under pressure conditions that remain constant despite variable opening times.

    摘要: A fuel injection arrangement for internal combustion engines, particularly for diesel engines, is indicated, in which the fuel injection is divided into an advance injection and a main injection for the purpose of noise reduction. An advance injection unit (27) is provided for the purpose of proportioning the advance injection quantity and a fuel injection pump of a conventional construction is provided for proportioning the main injection quantity. For an optimal design of the advance injection quantity with respect to noise reduction without influencing the main injection quantity, the advance injection unit (27) comprises a high-pressure storage (28), which is compressed to injection pressure, and at least one solenoid valve (30), which is controlled with respect to time. The advance and main injections are preferably effected via separate nozzle cross sections (21, 22).

    摘要: A fuel injection system for Diesel internal combustion engines, particularly vehicle Diesel engines, is proposed which has a full-load stop dependent on atmospheric pressure. The position of the full-load stop which adapts the injection quantity to the variable ambient air pressure is derived from an air pressure adjusting member and transmitted onto the full-load stop via a transmission member. A locking mechanism, which locks the transmission device in a plurality of positions counter to the force exerted by the full-load stop, is associated with the transmission member. The transmission member has two disks draggably coupled within a predetermined range, one of which disks is actuated by the air pressure adjusting member and the other of which disks cooperates with the full-load stop. The draggable coupling effects an adjustment of the full-load stop, if the full-load stop is relaxed, so that the air pressure adjusting member need exert no more than a small adjusting force.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus are proposed for determining and controlling an exhaust gas recirculation rate in internal combustion engines (Diesel engines), wherein an adjusting member in the exhaust gas recirculation line is adjusted by a regulator in order to attain precise regulation of the exhaust gas quantity recirculated to the aspirated air zone. The regulator is supplied with the exhaust gas temperature (T4) measured at a given time as the load signal for the engine. The comparison value of the regulator is then either an actual value of the exhaust gas recirculation rate, ascertained by means of effective temperature measurements in the intake zone of the engine, or a set-point differential temperature which is produced by means of measuring the aspirated air quantity at a given time and the rpm.

A specialized pressure gradient of a first polarity marks the onset of supply or injection, and the maximum of the pressure gradient of the other polarity represents the end of injection or supply. The question of which designation prevails, whether injection onset and end or supply onset and end, is determined by the measurement location, that is, whether it is in the direction of the injection valve or in the direction of the supply element of the fuel supply pump. The injection quantity, for example, may be determined via the integral of the pressure during the metering period. It is recommended, when a piezoelectric pressure receptor is used, that a resistor-capacitor element be switched parallel thereto.

    摘要: A fuel injection pump is proposed in which the fuel supply quantity supplied to the injection location is determined by metering the quantity of fuel aspirated. The metering of the aspirated quantities is effected with the aid of at least one magnetic valve which is located in the fuel supply line leading to the fuel injection pump and with the aid of a control edge moved in synchronism with the rotation of the fuel injection pump, which controls the communication between the fuel supply line and the pump work chamber in series with the magnetic valve. The opening times of the two control locations are each longer than the maximum metering time, the overlapping time of the two control times determining the opening time of the communication between the fuel supply and the pump work chamber. The metering time is thus determined on the one hand by the switching time of the control edge moved in synchronism with the rpm and the other by a switching process of the magnetic valve.
