    摘要： A spark-advance mechanism for an internal combustion engine is operated by vacuum pressure in the engine intake manifold. A conduit connecting the spark-advance mechanism to the intake manifold includes a solenoid operated valve which is normally open, and which is closed by either of two switches connected in parallel. One of the switches is closed when the engine temperature is low, and the other is closed when the engine RPM is high. When the solenoid valve is energized by either or both switches to close the conduit, atmospheric air is bled through an orifice to cause slow advance of the spark timing.

    摘要： An energy converter includes a magnetism generation mechanism unit that generates a magnetic field when connected to an AC electrical power source, and a rotating mechanism unit having a single turn coil array member in which a plurality of single turn coils is disposed at a predetermined interval and a soft magnetic metal plate disposed on a side of the single turn coil array member opposite to the magnetism generation mechanism unit. The rotating mechanism unit is structured such that the single turn coil array member faces the magnetism generation mechanism unit across a predetermined magnetic gap and rotary driven by the magnetic field. Here, a drive signal period of the electrical power source is a period that maximizes an eddy current generated in the soft magnetic metal plate.

    摘要： A combination magnetic transducer head apparatus which can easily achieve initial formatting of data tracks of a rotating magnetic recording medium such as a hard disk without using a specific separate initial formatting system. The apparatus comprises a magnetic head for initial formatting, another magnetic head for servo control and a magnetic recording and playback head all mounted on a head slider. In the apparatus, at least one track is first recorded on a magnetic disk by the magnetic head for initial formatting and then another track is recorded by the magnetic recording and playback head while the first track is scanned by the magnetic head for servo control whereafter such a series of operations are repeated until completion of recording of all tracks required.
