    摘要： Embodiments of the present invention help improve the process for updating parities accompanied by the writing process. According to one embodiment, a host controller transmits a write command and new data to a hard disk drive (HDD). The HDD reads old data at a region where the new data are to be written. The HDD then XORs the new data and the old data to generate a pseudo-parity. The HDD sets the pseudo-parity in a data frame addressed to both of a horizontal parity disk drive HDD and a diagonal parity disk drive HDD and transmits it. The horizontal parity disk drive HDD and the diagonal parity disk drive HDD update the parities using the pseudo-parity.

    摘要： The rear side outer peripheral edge of a propeller fan rotated and driven by a motor, of a propeller fan drive unit, is surrounded by a bell mouth. An upper plate, a lower plate, a side plate, and a machine room plate constitute an air duct at the suction side, outside the radial direction of the propeller fan. The cross-section of the bell mouth, at a first position in the vicinity where a blade of the propeller fan is closest, and where the distance between the propeller fan and the plate constituting the air duct outside the radial direction is relatively narrow, is made to be such that an expansion angle θ1 of the bell mouth suction side is made small. The overlapped height Hb of the propeller fan and the bell mouth is made large against a cross-section at a second position where the distance between the propeller fan and a plate is relatively large. The shape of the cross-section of the bell mouth is made to change gradually between the first position and the second position.

The gate and drain of each field-effect transistor are interconnected. The field-effect transistors are disposed in at least two separate wells in a semiconductor substrate. Each well is coupled to one of the electrodes of one of the field-effect transistors in the well, providing an appropriate back-gate bias for the field-effect transistors in the well.

    摘要： In a radiation type air conditioning system for cooling or heating fluid such as air or refrigerant through heat exchange and supplying the cooled or heated fluid into a radiant panel to radiatively cool or heat a room, the air is cooled by a heat exchanger (evaporator), and the cooled air is supplied onto the radiation face of the radiant panel by a fan to prevent dew condensation on the radiation face of the radiant panel. If the air which is cooled and dried by the evaporator is heated by a heater when it is supplied onto the radiation face of the radiant panel, the dew condensation preventing effect can be enhanced. Further, plural through holes are formed in the radiation panel and the cooled air is blown out onto the radiation face through the through holes, so that the dew condensation preventing effect can be enhanced.
