摘要: The present invention includes a power system that is designed to provide reliable electrical power to a facility, and specifically to a telecommunications facility. The system includes a number of proton exchange membranes (PEMs) adapted to provide DC power. The system is configured so that the PEMs receive fuel from a header that is supplied by a number of hydrogen generators. Storage tanks are also included to provide hydrogen to the header if the hydrogen generators fail. The hydrogen generators receive electricity initially from an array of photovoltaic panels. If the photovoltaic panels fail then AC power from a commercial utility is provided to the hydrogen generators. Finally, the system includes a number of super capacitors that are operable to maintain power during the time required to change between power sources.

摘要: The invention relates to a valve suitable for use in high-pressure environment for transmitting a treatment fluid from exterior of which is affected by a pre-charged compression gas which keeps the bellows in contracted position and a piston preventing fluid communication between the tubing and the casing through the valve body. The interior of the bellows is affected by the tubing pressure, one half of which is transmitted to the bellows through radial sensing ports, and the other half of which is transmitted to the bellows through the bottom of the piston. When the pressure inside the bellows exceeds the pre-charged pressure, the bellows expands, pulling the piston upwardly and opening fluid communication from the tubing into the casing through the valve. A controlled-size fluid outlet port allows the tubing fluid to exit into the casing.

摘要: There is disclosed a door framing system for a barn door or the like wherein a plurality of horizontal and vertical frame members are joined together to define a generally rectilinear frame structure. All of the frame members are fabricated from substantially U-shaped channel members or similar cross-section, such that they may be cut from stock material of said U-shaped cross-section. Corner joining brackets are employed which include a pair of transversely disposed base sections, with spaced side flanges extending from each said base section to provide a U-shaped surface configuration which will embrace the outer side faces of the frame members. The brackets including clamping means for coupling the brackets to the respective frame members. There is also disclosed various bracing structures for such a door frame construction, as well as various hardware for effecting hanging of the door, guiding of the door with respect to a building structure and stop means for maintaining the door in the proper closed position.

摘要: A surgical instrument is provided. The surgical instrument includes a housing having a shaft that extends therefrom that defines a longitudinal axis therethrough. An end effector assembly is operatively connected to a distal end of the shaft and includes a pair of first and second jaw members. The surgical instrument includes a handle assembly that includes a movable handle movable relative to a fixed handle operable to impart movement of the jaw members relative to one another. A rotating assembly is configured for rotating one of the shaft and end effector assembly about the longitudinal axis. The rotating assembly is supported in the housing and includes first and second drive. Each of the first and second drive wheels are selectively movable relative to the housing and configured such that rotation of the first drive wheel causes rotation of the second drive wheel and the shaft.

摘要: Various embodiments of a fuel-control system and associated methods for regulating the administration of a fuel to a fuel consuming device are disclosed. In one aspect, the fuel consuming device is a gas turbine receiving fuel through a feeder conduit from first and second sources of gas. According to one method, natural gas fuel is delivered from said first and second sources into said surge tank via first and second conduits, each conduit having pressure-control valves and sensors. The natural gas is delivered to the turbine from the surge tank via a feeder conduit. Pressure measurements are taken by the sensors for the first and second conduits, which are sent to a controller. The controller is then used to manipulate the valves to supply the turbine with fuel.

摘要: The present invention is a back-up power supply of alternating current and direct current, with the alternating current being generated by an inverter from the direct current, which is produced by a fuel cell. The inverter is at least partially encompassed by a phase changing material having an elevated melting point such that the phase changing material absorbs heat generated by the inverter as well as in the surrounding air, thereby maintaining the inverter temperature within acceptable limits. As the phase changing material absorbs the heat, its temperature rises and melts. Upon cooling of the system, the phase change material re-solidifies.
