    摘要: A valve for controlling fluids, which is provided with a fluid-filled coupling chamber that is disposed between an actuator piston of a piezoelectric actuator and a piston that actuates a valve member. In order to compensate for a leakage in the coupling chamber that is intermittently under high pressure during a switching procedure, a filling valve is provided that is disposed radially on the coupling chamber, but outside the chamber, and this valve monitors an inflow from an inlet conduit that is under ambient pressure in the valve. In this manner, on the one hand, the clearance volume produced by the attachment of the filling valve is very small and on the other hand, the filling valve is independent of the accelerated movements of the pistons, i.e., independent of their acceleration forces. The valve is designated for use in fuel injection devices for internal combustion engines of motor vehicles.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device for actuating a control piston or nozzle needle (27) via a control chamber (26). The control chamber communicates via a control chamber line (25) with valve chambers (3, 22) of a 3/2-way valve (5). The valve body (6, 40, 51) of this valve is switchable by means of an actuator (11). By means of a restoring spring (14), the valve body (6, 40, 51) is acted upon such that a seat portion (7), embodied in the housing (4) on the valve body (6, 40, 51), is put into its valve seat (20). The valve body (6, 40, 51) of the 3/2-way valve (5) has a seat portion (7) and a longitudinal slide portion (8), as well as hydraulic faces (31,32), facing one another, that make the state of pressure equilibrium of the valve body (6, 40, 51) possible. The valve body (6, 40, 51) is moved to different stroke lengths (10; 23, 24) by means of an actuator (11).

    摘要: An apparatus for measuring particulate matter in a flue gas or exhaust gas of a combustion process comprising means for transmitting a beam of light between an optical transmitter and an optical receiver. The light passes through two diametrically opposed light slits closed by transparent bodies in the wall of the tail pipe and crosses through a flow of exhaust gas carried in the tail pipe. The attenuation of intensity of the light beam is a measure of the particulate matter. When the measuring apparatus is used to measure a soot concentration in an exhaust gas of internal combustion engines of a vehicle, it is mounted directly on the tail pipe, and the transparent bodies are heated in the vicinity of the faces acted upon by the exhaust gas flow to a temperature above the soot burn-off temperature. As a result, adulteration of the measured value by soot deposits in the measurement path to the transparent bodies is prevented, and continuous operation of the measuring apparatus is assured.

    摘要: A fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines, having a valve member which is axially displaceable in a bore of a valve body and which on an end toward the combustion chamber has a valve member head. The head forms a valve closing member, which on one side toward the valve body has a sealing face, with which the sealing face cooperates with a valve seat face provided on the face end of the valve body toward the combustion chamber. An injection opening in the valve member head, which emerges from a pressure chamber, formed between the valve member and the wall of the bore, and leads away along the circumferential wall of the valve member head. The injection opening is closed by the wall of the bore when the valve member is resting on the valve seat and is opened by an outward-oriented opening stroke motion of the valve member. The valve member is actuatable by an externally controllable actuator independently of the high fuel pressure in the pressure chamber, and two pressure shoulders, facing one another and axially defining the pressure chamber, are provided on the needle-like valve member and each have substantially equal pressure engagement surface area. The pressure chamber is characterized in that one of the pressure shoulders is disposed on an end remote from the combustion chamber of the valve body, in a compensation chamber which communicates fluidically with the pressure chamber and is closed off on a face end by an axially displaceably guided pressure sleeve.

    摘要: A fuel injection system for internal combustion engines is proposed which supplies fuel injection valves with fuel from a high-pressure fuel source, under the control of a control unit.
