Abstract:
An image processing apparatus which has a function of simultaneously or selectively copy an image displayed on a display screen and an image on an original at an arbitrary location is disclosed. This apparatus includes a display unit which can be used as an original and be simultaneously used with the original and further can display at an arbitrary location on a placing unit for placing the original.
Abstract:
An optical information recording/reproducing apparatus for stably recording, reproducing, or erasing the information by a laser beam with respect to different kinds of optical disks is represented. This apparatus includes a processor to record, reproduce, or erase the information for an optical disk, a disk sort detector to detect the sort of optical disk, and a controller to control the processing parameters of the processor in response to an output signal from the disk sort detector. The disk sort detector reads the disk sort identifying information preliminarily recorded on the optical disk by the processor to detect the sort of disk. Or, this detector irradiates light onto labels having different reflection factors or transmission factors preliminarily provided on the optical disks by the processor and detects the reflected light amounts or transmitted light amounts from the labels, thereby detecting the sort of disk. The optical disks include disks of the type only for use of reproduction, the rerecordable type, and the writable type.
Abstract:
A magnetooptical recording medium provided with a first magnetic layer and a second magnetic layer having a higher Curie point and a lower coercive force than the first magnetic layer and being exchange coupled with the first magnetic layer satisfies the relation: ##EQU1## wherein H.sub.H is the coercive force of the first magnetic layer; H.sub.L is the coercive force of the second magnetic layer; M.sub.2 is the saturation magnetization of the second magnetic layer; h is the thickness thereof; and .sigma..sub.w is the magnetic wall energy between the first and second magnetic layers and a method of recording information on the same.
Abstract:
This specification discloses a sheet feeding device for feeding sheets from a sheet supporting bed such as a cassette or a deck, and more particularly a sheet feeding device having a sheet supporting bed holding sheets thereon and adapted to be removably mounted at a predetermined position in an image forming apparatus, a rotatable member for contacting the sheets on the sheet supporting bed and feeding the sheets when the sheet supporting bed is mounted at the predetermined position in the image forming apparatus, support means for supporting the rotatable member for idle rotation by a predetermined amount in a forward direction and a reverse direction, and intermittent means for intermittently connecting the support means to a drive source. The sheet supporting bed includes, for example, a cassette type one which can be perfectly removed from the image forming apparatus or, for example, a drawing type one which can be pulled out and inserted relative to the predetermined position while remaining engaged with the image forming apparatus.
Abstract:
There is disclosed an image processing system, particularly, for use in a copying machine with a display. This apparatus comprises a liquid crystal display panel on an original presser plate; a panel copy mode to perform the image processing with respect to the screen display; an ordinary copy mode to perform the image processing with respect to an ordinary original; a high gradient processor to perform the image processing of high gradient; a low gradient processor to perform the image processing of low gradient; and a switching circuit to switch the high gradient processor and low gradient processor in accordance with the panel copy mode and ordinary copy mode. The image processings with different gradients can be executed depending upon the states and kinds of originals, so that an appropriate copy of the display panel or ordinary original can be always provided.
Abstract:
A mechanism for mounting and dismounting a screen-like photosensitive medium having a number of fine openings with respect to an apparatus body. It is known to form a screen-like photosensitive medium into the shape of a drum, but according to the present invention, the photosensitive medium and a gear for driving the photosensitive medium are constructed independently of each other to leave the gear on the apparatus body side, and a device for directing a current applied to the photosensitive medium side is provided inside of the gear with a sliding member interposed therebetween. The side surface of the photosensitive medium which corresponds to the gear is provided with a construction similar to the gear portion, thereby facilitating the mounting and dismounting of the screen-like photosensitive medium with respect to the apparatus body.
