The plastic molding of the present invention exhibit high tenacity, flexural strength and heat stability. A scheme is used to automatically discover algebraic constraints between pairs of columns in relational data. The constraints may be “fuzzy” in that they hold for most, but not all, of the records, and the columns may be in the same table or different tables. The scheme first identifies candidate sets of column value pairs that are likely to satisfy an algebraic constraint. For each candidate, the scheme constructs algebraic constraints by applying statistical histogramming, segmentation, or clustering techniques to samples of column values. In query-optimization mode, the scheme automatically partitions the data into normal and exception records. During subsequent query processing, queries can be modified to incorporate the constraints; the optimizer uses the constraints to identify new, more efficient access paths. The results are then combined with the results of executing the original query against the (small) set of exception records.

The specific blend of isocyanate-reactive compounds B) comprises: i) at least one polyether polyol of a functionality of more than 2.5 to 6.0, ii) at least one polyether polyol of a functionality of 1.8 to less than 2.5, iii) at least one polyether polyol of a functionality of 1.8 to 6.0 having an EO content in the polyether chain of at least 50 wt. %. The flexible foams produced according to the present invention are characterized by moderate compressive strength at an elevated bulk density.

Amine-modified polyurethane (urea) foams are made by reacting a polyisocyanate with a relatively high molecular weight isocyanate-reactive compound in the presence of a difunctional and/or polyfunctional amine corresponding to the formula(e) ##STR1## in which X, R', R", m and n each represent specified groups or values. The amine is used in a quantity of from 0.01 to 5 parts by weight for every 100 parts by weight relatively high molecular weight isocyanate-reactive compound. Known additives and auxiliaries may also be included in the reaction mixture. The foams thus produced are characterized by improved mechanical properties and reduced amine odor. These foams are usefuel as cushioning materials, insulating materials, coatings and elastomeric materials.

The invention relates to the use of poly-N,N-di-(hydroxyalkyl)-polycarbonamides of aliphatic or cycloaliphatic polycarboxylic acids as reactive flame-retardants for polyurethane foams, and in particular polyurethane integral skin foams and polyurethane rigid foams which are produced with the aid of organic blowing agents. These reactive flame-retardants are added in quantities of from 11.5 to 50 parts by weight, and most preferably from 12 to 25 parts by weight, based on 100 parts of the relatively high molecular weight polyol used for the preparation of the foam. The integral skin or rigid foams produced are flame-resistant and because of their reduced flammability are capable of passing various regulation fire tests, and in particular those testing foams for use in vehicles for transport.
