摘要: The present invention relates to reactive mixtures and processes for forming flexible polyurethane foams more in particular low-density flexible polyurethane foams with mainly open cells and low air flow resistivities, said reactive mixture being characterized as a reactive mixture avoiding the use of water as blowing agent and at least one carbodiimide forming catalyst beside at least one polyurethane and/or polyisocyanurate forming catalyst and said processes being characterized as having a low reaction exotherm during foaming thereby reducing the risk of scorching during production.

摘要: Disclosed are a polyurethane foam composition for sound-absorbing materials, a method for manufacturing a polyurethane foam and a polyurethane foam manufactured using the method. Particularly, disclosed are a composition containing a polyol mixture including a polyol and an additive, and isocyanate, and the manufacture of a low-density polyurethane foam for sound-absorbing materials, which is imparted with improved appearance formability, reduced smell and enhanced sound absorption performance by controlling the content of the composition and the conditions for foaming the composition.

摘要: The invention relates to a polyurethane composition for preparing composites, a polyurethane composite obtained by the preparation and a method for preparing the polyurethane composite. The polyurethane composition comprises: a) an isocyanate component; b) an isocyanate-reactive component; c) a radical reaction initiator and d) an organometallic catalyst; wherein the hydroxyl value of the component b) isocyanate-reactive component is 200 mgKOH/g to 700 mgKOH/g, and the molar ratio of isocyanate groups to hydroxyl groups of the composition is 0.6 to 1.5. The polyurethane composition of the present invention has the advantages of long pot life and simple operation process. The polyurethane composite comprising the polyurethane resin matrix prepared by the polyurethane composition of the present invention has both excellent weather resistance and mechanical strength.

The impact resistant composite laminate comprises a base layer and a first impact resistant layer formed by the thermoplastic polyurethane foam, and the first impact resistant layer overlaps the base layer.-

摘要: Polyurethane foams including a polyurethane prepolymer composition, a catalyst, and a propellant are provided. The polyurethane prepolymer composition is produced from a formulation that includes an isocyanate reactive component in an amount of from about 1% to about 70% by weight based on the polyurethane prepolymer composition and an isocyanate component in an amount of from about 1% to about 70% by weight based on the polyurethane prepolymer composition. The isocyanate component includes toluene diisocyanate biuret in an amount of from about 1 to about 100% by weight based on the isocyanate component. The isocyanate reactive component includes one or more polyols. The polyurethane prepolymer composition has a viscosity of less than about 10,000 mPa*s at 50° C. and is substantially free of monofunctional reactive components. The polyurethane prepolymer composition also includes a free isocyanate monomer content of the toluene diisocyanate biuret of less than about 1% by weight.

摘要: A process is disclosed for producing polyurethane-polyisocyanurate-fiber composite parts, wherein a composition comprising polyisocyanate, a mixture obtainable by introducing an alkali metal salt or alkaline earth metal salt into a compound R—NH—CO—R′ containing urethane groups, with R′ being not hydrogen and/or not COR″, a compound containing one or more epoxide groups, polyetherol having an average functionality of 1.8 to 5.0 and a hydroxyl number of 200 to 500, a chain extender, fibrous reinforcing agents and optionally further additives form a reaction mixture. The reaction mixture is applied to the fibrous reinforcing agent and caused to react to form the polyurethane-polyisocyanurate-fiber composite part. Further disclosed is a polyurethane-polyisocyanurate-fiber composite part producible by such a process, and also the use of a polyurethane-polyisocyanurate-fiber composite part as a bodywork component of vehicles, such as bumpers, fenders or roof parts, or as structural or semistructural components for vehicles or wind turbines.

摘要: Clear polyurethane fiber reinforced composites are produced by a pultrusion process with a polyurethane-forming system that includes: (a) a clear, aliphatic polyisocyanate having a viscosity at 25° C. of no more than 1000 centipoise, (b) a colorless polyol component comprising an amine-initiated polyol having a molecular weight of from about 150 to about 400 and an OH functionality greater than or equal to 3, and (c) a catalyst. These fiber-reinforced composites are characterized by both excellent weathering characteristics and excellent physical properties.
