    Abstract: A display control device comprises an image acquiring unit which acquires observation image data, an image recording unit which records recorded image data, an image synthesizing unit which generates synthesized image data based on the observation image data and the recorded image data, a first selector, a second selector, and a selector interlock controller. The first selector outputs one of the observation image data and the synthesized image data to a first display device as first selected data. The second selector outputs one of the first selected data and the recorded image data to a second display device as second selected data.     Abstract: A first signal processing apparatus includes: an image processing unit configured to at least execute a composition process of generating composed image information in which first image information or second image information and textual information are superimposed; and a control unit configured to control the process of the image processing unit in accordance with communication with a second signal processing apparatus. The control unit selects either one of the first image information and the second image information, and when the second image information is selected, the control unit outputs a first command for instructing the second signal processing apparatus not to superimpose the second image information and the textual information related to the second image information, and causes the image processing unit to generate composite image information in which the second image information and the textual information related to the second image information are superimposed.

    Abstract: An endoscope system has an insertion portion, a forward observation window configured to acquire a forward-field-of-view image, a lateral observation window configured to acquire a lateral-field-of-view image, an image pickup device and a video processor. A positional displacement correcting portion of the video processor detects a positional relationship between a portion where the forward-field-of-view image is formed and a portion where the lateral-field-of-view image is formed, on the image pickup device, and generates displacement amount data. A boundary correcting portion generates an image signal in which the forward-field-of-view image and the lateral-field-of-view image are arranged with an image center point provided in the portion and an image center point provided in the portion caused to correspond to each other, based on the displacement amount data.
