摘要: A control device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires, from a first endoscope connected to the control device, identification information that contains switch information indicating the number of switches of the first endoscope and contains function information indicating a function that is executable or not executable by the first endoscope; a recording unit that records setting information that assigns predetermined functions to be executed corresponding to signals respectively input from switches of a second endoscope; a setting unit that generates function setting information that assigns and sets functions to be executed corresponding to signals respectively input from the switches of the first endoscope, based on the identification information and the setting information; and an executing unit that, when one of the signals is input from a switch, executes one of the functions assigned to the switch which inputs the one of the signals according to the function setting information.

摘要: An endoscope system has an image pickup section and a processor. The image pickup section has a control register section which controls a sensor section, a nonvolatile memory which stores first setup data, a control signal interface section which sets the first setup data in the control register section, and an initialization check register which senses an abnormality in the control register section. When an abnormality is sensed, the control signal interface section reads out the setup data from the nonvolatile memory and performs control so as to reset the setup data in the control register section. The control signal interface section further has a memory which stores reset occurrence information upon occurrence of reset. The processor includes a control section which reads out the reset occurrence information from the memory, and, when reset is detected, transmits second setup information held by the processor to the image pickup section.

摘要: An in-vivo imaging device including a camera may include a frame storage device. Systems and methods which vary the frame capture rate of the camera and/or frame display rate of the display unit of in-vivo camera systems are discussed. The capture rate is varied based on for example, a physical quantity experienced by the camera system, or physical measurements related to the motion of the camera. Alternatively, the frame capture rate is varied based on comparative image processing of a plurality of frames. The frame display rate of the system may be varied based on comparative image processing of a multiplicity of frames. Both the frame capture and the frame display rates of such systems can be varied concurrently.

摘要: An endoscope system has an image pickup section and a processor. 摘要: Disclosed embodiments include apparatuses, systems, and methods for positioning electrodes within a body. In an illustrative embodiment, an apparatus for slidably moving multiple features relative to a sheath inserted into a body and positioned relative to a reference point includes a primary actuator configured to move a primary electrode, a secondary actuator configured to move a secondary electrode, and a control mechanism. The control mechanism is configured to selectively prevent movement of at least one of the primary actuator based on a position of the secondary actuator and of the secondary actuator based on a position of the primary actuator and lock positions of the primary actuator and the secondary actuator.
