Abstract: A transmitting method includes: dividing data into a plurality of divided data; configuring a plurality of packets by allocating header information to each of the plurality of divided data and packetizing the plurality of divided data; and transmitting the plurality of configured packets, wherein the header information allocated to each of the plurality of divided data includes (i) divided data information and (ii) a value of an invalidated fragment counter, the divided data information being related to divided data numbers and a number of the plurality of divided data, the divided data numbers indicating an order of each of the plurality of divided data.

Abstract: Provided is a video reception method performed by a video reception apparatus including a display. The video reception method includes: receiving a reception signal multiplexed from a video signal and an audio signal; obtaining the video signal and first transfer characteristics information by demultiplexing the reception signal, the first transfer characteristics information being information for specifying, per random access unit, a transfer function corresponding to a luminance dynamic range of the video signal; obtaining video data by decoding the video signal obtained; and displaying the video data while controlling a luminance dynamic range of the display per random access unit according to the first transfer characteristics information.

Abstract: A sensing device includes a light source, a light-receiving device including at least one light-receiving element that performs photoelectric conversion, and a processing circuit that controls the light source and the light-receiving device. The processing circuit causes the light source to emit light to a scene at least once, causes the light-receiving device to receive reflected light in each of a plurality of exposure periods, the reflected light being resulting from the emitted light, generates, based on received-light data from the light-receiving device, luminance data that indicates distributions of amounts of reflected light corresponding to the respective exposure periods and that are used for generating distance data for the scene, and outputs the luminance data and timing data indicating timings of the respective exposure periods.

Abstract: A receiving device of the present disclosure includes: a first processor that (i) receives a broadcast signal obtained by modulating multiplexed data including at least first multiplexed data in a first multiplexing format, out of the first multiplexed data and second multiplexed data in a second multiplexing format different from the first multiplexing format, (ii) demodulates the broadcast signal received, and (iii) outputs the multiplexed data obtained as a result of the demodulation; and a converter that (i) converts, into the second multiplexing format, a multiplexing format of the first multiplexed data included in the multiplexed data that has been output, and (ii) outputs converted data obtained as a result of the conversion.
