The invention concerns an absorbent paper product with a basic weight ranging from about 20 to 80 g/m2 comprising an embossed ply including raised designs consisting at least partly of discrete protuberances oriented inwards of the structure and a non-embossed ply. The invention is characterised in that the embossed ply has at least over part of its surface at least 30 protuberances per cm2 whereof the top surface area is less than 1 mm2 preferably less than 0.7 mm2.

The signals delivered by the electrodes e'.sub.1 to e'.sub.n+1 are applied to the inputs of an algebraic summing device through switches I.sub.1 to I.sub.n+1 controlled by logical signals T.sub.1 to T.sub.n+1. The output of the summing device is connected to the output of the demodulating device through a threshold device; programming of the signals T.sub.1 to T.sub.n+1 makes it possible to provide a filter which is matched with the signals to be demodulated.

The herein disclosed synchronization extractor is designed to recover a train of useful pulses of given recurrence period T from an input signal containing both useful pulses and parasitic pulses. Each period T is divided into n sampling intervals of a duration less than or equal to that of the pulses. The pulses present in the several intervals are respectively counted by n reversible counters. Backward-counting pulses, having a recurrence period which is greater than the period T but less than the recurrence periods of the parasitic pulses, are applied to the counters simultaneously. The useful pulses are collected from that counter in which the mean rate of the forward-counting pulses exceeds that of the backward-counting pulses.

Technologies for simulating service degradation in telemetry data include a simulator device. The simulator device is to identify a telemetry data stream from a production system to a first management system. The simulator device is also to fork a copy of the telemetry data stream for transmission to a second management system, determine perturbations associated with a determined service degradation type, and apply the perturbations to the forked telemetry data stream. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

A polymer composition which includes carbon nanotubes in a resin matrix such as cyclic butylene terephthalate where the resin matrix is compounded into a polymer matrix. The carbon nanotube resin matrix is compatible in a wide variety of polymer matrixes having many end uses. The resin matrix provides good compatibility with many polymer systems, e.g., polyamides, polyesters, acrylics and is easy to use exhibiting a low melting point and low viscosity in melt and provides for a polymer matrix having good properties, including a higher electrical conductivity and/or increased mechanical properties.
