Hinged coupling mechanisms couple respective arms of the wings together. Additionally or alternatively, a key mechanism can include one or more half-butterfly hinges. Each half-butterfly hinge includes a double wing design operative to move between a depressed position and non-depressed position. A hinged coupling mechanism couples one set of corresponding arms of the wings together, while the other set of corresponding arms are not coupled together.

摘要: Different lamination methods may be used to create a touch sensor with a darkened side of metalized film facing the user. One lamination method includes laminating a metalized film to an optically clear adhesive (OCA) layer such that an edge of the metalized film including the termination pads remain un-adhered to the OCA layer. Flex-tails may be bonded to the termination pads at a later time by bending up the un-adhered edge. Anisotropic Conductive Film (ACF) may be placed on the termination pads prior to laminating the metalized films. Flex-tails may be placed onto an OCA layer in a location where the termination pads on the metalized film will be located when laminated to the OCA layer. A strip of ACF may be placed on the flex-tail pads. The flex-tails may be bonded to the termination pads of the metalized film prior to the metalized film being laminated.

The membrane may comprise compounds selected from the group consisting of thermoplastics and thermosets. The printed and textured designs may be of a laid roof or siding. The invention includes a method of installing a single ply building membrane on a building surface and a method of manufacturing such membrane.

The method may include: providing a substrate including a thermoplastic material and a transparent layer including a thermoplastic material, providing a continuous print layer including particles on the substrate or on the transparent layer, printing a digital image including colour pigments on the print layer, and bonding the print layer with the colour pigments to the transparent layer and to the substrate with heat and pressure such that the digital image is located between the transparent layer and the substrate.

In an embodiment, a lightguide assembly includes light transmissive bodies forming respective corrugations which are coupled to one another. Optical coatings are variously disposed between the respective corrugations, wherein the optical coatings provide for redirection of light from the lightguide assembly. In another embodiment, optical coatings are each applied to a respective one of alternate facets of a corrugation. Polymer film portions provide mechanical support for the optical coatings during application to the corrugation.

摘要: A multi layered card embodying the invention includes an outer layer of an amorphous laser reactive copolymer material which is embossed with a selected pattern at a selected temperature which is above the glass transition temperature, Tg, of the copolymer and below its melting temperature, Tm. So embossed, the selected pattern is set in the copolymer layer, and its external shape cannot be changed from the embossed form to which it was set at the selected temperature, without destroying the selected pattern. The outer layer may be laminated with the other layers of the card and laser engraved before or after lamination.
