    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may support superimposed NR and LTE transmissions using an antenna port, in conjunction with an LTE-aware, NR slot structure (e.g., an NR V2X slot structure). In some aspects, the slot structure may protect portions of the LTE signal from interference, increasing LTE decoder robustness to interference which may provide opportunities for increasing the NR signal power. The UE may transmit a superimposed transmission of an LTE signal and an NR signal from a same antenna port in a same radio frequency resource. In some aspects, the slot structure may be modified so that the UE does not transmit when LTE reference signals are transmitted, so as to avoid interference with the LTE reference signals. A receiving UE may use the LTE reference signals to demodulate the LTE signal and the NR signal from the common time and frequency resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. One or more user equipments (UEs) may communicate in a wireless communications system by transmitting and receiving sidelink messages from other UEs. The UEs may transmit acknowledgement (ACK) or negative acknowledgment (NACK) feedback based on reception of sidelink messages for other UEs. The UEs may identify a sidelink feedback resource set including a set of feedback transmission slots for transmitting sidelink feedback. The UEs may perform NACK-only feedback, and may streamline feedback transmissions based on monitoring for other NACKs from other UEs. The UEs may prioritize feedback transmissions when the UE has multiple feedback transmissions queued, and when a UE has feedback to transmit and to receive in overlapping transmission time intervals (TTIs).

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to support configuring a user equipment (UE) operating in unlicensed spectrum with a set of component carriers (CCs) for sidelink communications using the unlicensed spectrum. In a first example, a UE may select a CC from the set of candidate CCs, for example, using a carrier selection configuration, and may select a resource in the CC for a sidelink communication. In a second example, a UE may select multiple candidate resources for a sidelink communication, for example, using a resource selection configuration and based on sensing performed by the UE. To indicate the reservation of a candidate resource, the UE may indicate both a CC in which the reserved resource is located and a location of the reserved resource within the carrier. The UE may transmit a sidelink message using a selected candidate resource in the unlicensed spectrum.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a time offset for synchronization signal resources for synchronization signals associated with a first radio access technology (RAT). The UE may determine the synchronization signal resources and a synchronization periodicity based on the indication and a penetration ratio of UEs associated with the first RAT. The UE may selectively transmit the synchronization signals on the synchronization signal resources and according to the synchronization periodicity. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may determine that other synchronization signal resources are allocated for a second RAT and may select resources for communications associated with the first RAT based on determining that the other synchronization signal resources are allocated. The UE may perform communications associated with the first RAT based on selecting the resources.
