Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques for grouping in multi-user multiple-input-multiple-output (MU-MIMO) systems by using limited probing. With more wireless stations (STAs) being used in MU-MIMO groups, the probing used to obtain packet error metrics to determine the throughput for selecting the MU-MIMO groups for transmission can become more complex and involve a larger overhead. To reduce the probing overhead, various techniques are described in this disclosure. For example, an access point (AP) can identify a trigger to initiate a packet error probing. In response to the trigger, the AP embeds one or more probing packets that are part of the packet error probing within a short interframe space (SIFS)-burst data transmission process to take advantage of the existing structure of the process. Then, the AP can update at least one packet error metric (e.g., packet error rate or PER) based on feedback received in response to the probing packets.

Abstract: A feature-capable device that supports channel reuse can execute operations for determining whether to reuse or share a communication channel with a neighbor network when a local network (that comprises the feature-capable device) and/or the neighbor network comprise legacy devices that do not support adaptive channel reuse feature. The feature-capable device can determine channel performance measurements associated with each legacy device in the local network and/or the neighbor network and can compare the channel performance measurements against corresponding performance thresholds. The local network and the neighbor network can reuse the channel if the channel performance measurements associated with all the legacy devices are in accordance with the corresponding performance thresholds. The local network and the neighbor network can share the channel if the channel performance measurements of at least one of the legacy devices is not in accordance with the corresponding performance thresholds.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for synchronous channel access control of a wireless system. In some aspects, a device may use a TWT session to communicate with a second device during one or more TWT service periods. Uplink and downlink communications may be coordinated to both be in a TWT service period to allow a device to enter a low power mode outside of the TWT service period. The TWT session, including the service periods, may be configured and managed by the device or the second device to ensure the communications associated with an XR experience between the devices (such as pose data frames or tracking frames provided as uplink data and video data frames provided as downlink data) meet latency requirements or other requirements for the XR experience. Use of TWT service periods allows other devices to use the wireless medium outside of the TWT service periods.

Abstract: An AP obtains service-level agreement (SLA) parameters indicating at least a delay bound for each of a plurality of traffic flows. The AP receives first packets of a first traffic flow, and delays their transmission for a delay period based on the data carried in the first packets being less than a first threshold. During the delay period, the AP receives second packets of the first traffic flow while also receiving packets of a second traffic flow, groups the second traffic flow with the first traffic flow for an MU-MIMO transmission based on the data carried in the first and second packets of the first traffic flow being greater than the first threshold and the data carried in the packets of the second traffic flow being greater than a second threshold, and transmits the first and second packets traffic flows as an MU-MIMO communication.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may determine a set of STAs for at least one of a MU-MIMO transmission or an OFDMA transmission. In certain aspects, the set of STAs may be associated with a set of acceptable MCSs determined based on MCSs excluded from a union of a plurality of sets of unacceptable MCSs. Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe various techniques for handling data stall in wireless local area networks (WLANs). These techniques include, for example, a method in which wireless communications are switched at a wireless station from a first network device associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) (e.g., WLAN technology) to a second network device associated with a second RAT (e.g., wireless wide area network (WWAN) technology). The wireless station may then monitor network devices associated with the first RAT, including the first network device. The wireless station may filter results from the monitoring based at least in part on one or more threshold value and identify, based on the filtered results, one of the network devices as suitable for the wireless communications. The wireless communications may then be switched at the wireless station from the second network device to the one network device identified as suitable for the wireless communications.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for back-to-back transmissions via a multi-hop relay path using flow-specific resource reservation. Some aspects more specifically relate to flow-specific transmission opportunity (TXOP) sharing and/or orthogonal channel reservation in combination with a flow-specific sequence of time slots. In implementations in which flow-specific TXOP sharing is employed in combination with a flow-specific sequence of time slots, one or more wireless communication devices may determine whether a shared TXOP supersedes the flow-specific sequence of time slots in accordance with whether the shared TXOP is associated with a same flow as the sequence of time slots. In implementations in which orthogonal channel reservation is employed in combination with a flow-specific sequence of time slots, each wireless communication device of a multi-hop relay path may receive an indication of or otherwise be configured with a frequency channel via which to transmit.
