Abstract: A first wireless communication device receives spur measurement information associated with one or more frequency domain spurs in a transmission signal spectrum of a second wireless communication device. The spur measurement information indicates a baseband frequency and an expected power of each of the one or more frequency domain spurs. The first wireless communication device receives one or more signals from the second wireless communication device and processes the one or more signals in accordance with the spur measurement information to compensate the one or more signals for the one or more frequency domain spurs in the transmission signal spectrum of the second wireless communication device. In some implementations, the first wireless communication device receives the spur measurement information in association with transmitting spur suppression capability information that indicates a capability of the first wireless device to estimate and correct frequency domain spurs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described that support a report message for indicating non-linearity cancelation capability. A user equipment (UE) may receive one or more references signals from a network entity, where the reference signals are associated with a downlink resource allocation. The UE may measure a link quality metric for the reference signals. The UE may transmit a report message that includes at least a parameter indicating a non-linearity threshold associated with a capability of the UE to process non-linearity of downlink signals, where the parameter is based on the link quality metric and one or more characteristics of the downlink resource allocation. The network entity may receive the report message and transmit one or more downlink messages in accordance with the downlink resource allocation and based on the parameter.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein provide for a user equipment (UE) to determine a channel estimation associated with a downlink channel. In some examples, a network entity may determine a projection matrix and may transmit, to the UE, control signaling indicating the projection matrix. The UE may determine the channel estimation associated with the downlink channel based on the projection matrix. The UE may receive data signaling from the network entity, and the UE may demodulate the data signaling according to the channel estimation that is based at least in part on the projection matrix.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication that the UE is to apply a digital-post distortion (DPoD) procedure to a received signal to reduce non-linearities of the received signal. In some examples, the UE may determine one or more autocorrelation values for a power delay profile (PDP) of a channel, receive an indication of a matrix, and identify coefficients (e.g., b-coefficients) for use in the DPoD procedure based on multiplying the autocorrelation values and the matrix. Alternatively, a network entity may determine the autocorrelation values indicate them to the UE for use in identifying the coefficients. In some other cases, the network entity may use the autocorrelation values and the matrix to determine the coefficients and then may indicate the coefficients to the UE. The UE may apply the DPoD procedure to the received signal using the coefficients.

A user equipment (UE) may transmit first control information that is indicative of noise (e.g., phase noise, additive white gaussian noise (AWGN), or both) that impacts a spectral efficiency of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The MCS may be associated with a constellation of points that may be each representative of a respective candidate sequence of bit values encoded with a corresponding combination of signal amplitude and carrier phase. The UE may receive, based on transmitting the first control information, second control information that indicates a set of partitioning parameters indicative of a hierarchical partitioning of the constellation into a multiple subsets of points. As such, the UE may decode a message, modulated via the MCS, using the hierarchical partitioning indicated by the set of partitioning parameters.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A second wireless device may perform an enhanced non-linearity correction procedure. For example, the second wireless device may transmit, to a first wireless device, a capability report and, additionally, or alternatively, a request for a statistical attribute report associated with a power amplifier (PA) of the first wireless device. The statistical attribute report may include one or more statistical attributes associated with one or more PA coefficients for the PA. The second wireless device may receive, in response to the request, the statistical attribute report and a data signal based on the one or more PA coefficients for the PA from the first wireless device. The second wireless device may perform, based on the statistical attribute report and the data signal, an enhanced non-linearity correction procedure on the data signal.
