    摘要: The present invention relates to moisture-curable, polyether urethanes having terminal cyclic urea/reactive silane groups and containing a) 20 to 100% by weight, based on the weight of a) and b), of a polyether urethane containing two or more terminal cyclic urea/reactive silane groups and one or more polyether segments, wherein the polyether segments have a number average molecular weight of at least 3000 and a degree of unsaturation of less than 0.04 milliequivalents/g, provided that the sum of the number average molecular weights of all of the polyether segments per molecule averages 6000 to 20,000, and wherein the terminal cyclic urea/reactive silane groups are incorporated as the reaction product of an isocyanate group with an aspartate silane to form a urea group which is converted to a cyclic urea group in the presence of a catalyst and heat, and b) 0 to 80% by weight, based on the weight of a) and b), of a polyether urethane containing one reactive silane group and one or more polyether segments having a number average molecular weight of 1000 to 15,000. The present invention also relates to sealant, adhesive and coating compositions containing these polyether urethanes.

    摘要: A curable, alkoxysilane-functional polyether urethane composition formed by combining a) a first silane terminated polyurethane prepared by reacting i) a mono-functional compounds with ii) an isocyanate component containing two isocyanate groups, the reaction product reacted with iii) a compound containing an isocyanate-reactive group and one or more reactive silane groups to form a moisture-curable, alkoxysilane-functional polyether urethane; and b) a second silane terminated polyurethane prepared by reacting i) an alkyl monofunctional alcohol, amine, and/or thiol, with ii) an isocyanate component containing two isocyanate groups, the reaction product reacted with iii) a compound containing an isocyanate-reactive group and one more reactive silane groups. The urethane composition can be used in coating, sealant and/or adhesive compositions. The coating compositions are used to form a coated substrate. The sealant and/or adhesive compositions are used in a method of joining a first adherend and a second adherend to form a bonded assembly.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a polyisocyanate mixture i) having an NCO content of 5 to 35% by weight and a monomeric diisocyanate content of less than 3% by weight, and prepared from a polyisocyanate adduct, ii) containing allophanate groups in an amount such that there are more equivalents of allophanate groups than urethane groups and such that the polyisocyanate mixture remains stable and homogeneous in storage for 1 month at 25° C. and iii) containing siloxane groups (calculated as SiO, MW 44) in an amount of 0.002 to 50% by weight, wherein the preceding percentages are based on the solids content of the polyisocyanate mixture and wherein the siloxane groups are incorporated by reacting an isocyanate group with a compound containing one or more hydroxyl groups directly attached to a carbon atom and one or more siloxane groups.     摘要: Sodium percarbonate exhibits a tendency to decompose in built compositions and particularly detergent compositions built with zeolites. The tendency can be ameliorated by selecting sodium percarbonate which intrinsically has a mean particle size of from 500 to 1000 microns and not more than 20% by weight of below 350 microns and has a moisture pick-up when measured in a test at 80% relative humidity and 32° C. after 24 hours of not greater than 30 g/1000 g sample. A suitable sodium percarbonate can be made most conveniently by crystallisation from a bulk saturated solution of sodium percarbonate in a crystalliser/classifier that does not employ a conventional chloride salting-out agent.
